Best weekend of my life flew from London Heathrow on the Thursday arrived Singapore on Friday 3pm checked in at marina bay sands went to the infinity pool and watched fp2 up there then went down to the tunnel grandstand, fantastic!

Yes, and it is a fucking joke. Nowadays Grand Prix take place in countries that can pay the most. Singapore GP is secured while Monza GP is in danger. To be fair it was like this since pretty much forever (Malaysia, Bahrain, though at least they have decent racetracks, not like Singapore. That bumpy shit track doesn't deserve to host Formula 1).

That car fought him for every inch. You couldn't fit daylight between tire and wall in a couple corners. I can't wait to see Perez in a top tier car. I'm waiting to hear the chant by the tifosi one day... Let's go che-co 👏-👏--👏👏👏

DC said it's a huge rush for the drivers since it's a high G corner, close to 200kmh and over. FOM are most likely using this lap in order to display the technicality of the street circuit and it's challenges since Sergio locked up and messed up several times, including missing a few apexes.

I think the straight after turn 5 should be longer. There's another traffic light junction after turn 7, which I don't think is used by the public during the race weekend. This essentially makes the straights before AND after turn 7 longer. Turns 8 and 9 would of course be removed. I also don't know why the Singapore Sling was removed. I guess the drivers never really liked it.

Yes. This track is a real challenge and I think its starting to get the respect it deserves. Even if the cars are considered "easy" to drive and whatnot. This track will push them to their limits, regardless of what they're driving. Its like performing at the highest level of your physical capabilities, while in a sauna.

It's ridiculous people criticizing this era of F1 purely because of the V6 sound. It's a new era. Get over it. F1 is technically an amazing sport and and the fact these cars are just as fast as 2004 cars with a 1.6 V6 and only using 100kg of fuel is anything but astonishing. Why not? It gets boring seeing these video's with just Mercs, Ferrari's or Red Bulls. You get to see how much more the driver has to work a lesser car. I'd like to see one with a Manor, bet that was scary putting one of those around this track

As a local, i find the track makes for a exciting qualifying as it is hard to get a perfect flying lap. Race wise, it is boring as there are few places to overtake. Get ready to sleep with the wider, more dirty-air producing cars.

JH I think we'll see a lot of safety car moments this year. The cars are wider, I get a feeling there'll be a number of crashes at Turn 18, where they go under the Floating Platform grandstand. In fact if an accident happens in the first lap at that corner, I am fairly certain that quite a number of cars will be out altogether.

Vettel just has a natural feel, talent and skill for this track, as seen in previous seasons. However, this year's Ferrari doesn't seen to quite have the edge as it's predecessor, compared to other teams in 2016. So, maybe, Red Bull may have the upper hand as they have a more consistent car than Ferrari this year. Also, Mercedes have no idea how they are going to perform this year at Singapore. They had no pace last year. My bet is that Red Bull will be the team to watch unless, Mercedes figured out what they did wrong in 2015...

Drivers lose a lot of fluid here coz of the humidity and pretty high temperatures even at night. There was a footage of Trulli in the 2008 gp where he looked close to fainting after retiring his car, even though he was reputed to be one of the top fittest drivers in the paddock.

Too wide on the corners. Needs to be closer to the edges. Less on the breaks on the wide corners and more acceleration. Good driver but needs to kiss those corners if he wants to be in the top 5

last year merc only struggled because they couldn't use the same low tyre pressures they did in Monza they got away without a penalty in Monza fia not inforcing there own rules remember Hamilton and rosberg were below the minimum limit tyre pressure in Monza but everyone was told don't do it again and all of a sudden merc were hopeless in Singapore I think by now they now the tyres better so wont happen again.
