F1 is inherently a rich boys sport. It's extremely expensive to facilitate from karting to professional racing. Not that Lewis comes from a poor family but most of the drivers are either children of former drivers or have super rich parents so it does make his story even more inspiring by comparison. Just imagine what it must be like to get the chance to join the F1 and then absolutely dominate it year after year.
