Alway make sure to be on the green zone when putting setups. The green zone decreases the more you go on practise runs giving a better feel for your driver

@Benjamin Benjamin he is right, Its te Same thing on motorsport manager. Alex his confidence was 65% Bc the set up was not optimal. You start with large green zones. If u let a driver do a lap the green zones get smaller bc the driver gets to know the car better and the circuit. U have to guess where in the green zone you put your maker, if Its good the driver will say that and it increases his confidence. If Its put not in the right place in the green zone he will lose confidence. Just use the pratice to get te set up (confidence) to 100% then u get faster times on the table.

I don't think you should rush for uploads like on classic F1 games. I feel like this game needs a lot of commitment time wise to plan out the setups, strategies, developpment, quite everything. Never trust the AI to do your practice sessions and don't speed up too much.

As a PSA to anyone playing this, the slipstream helps you conserve fuel even when pushing, but you have to be careful because once in clean air fuel consumption spikes

The fuel is weird, what it looks like to me is you save more fuel when you're closely following another car (regardless of whether you're pushing or not) because the driver's lifting to avoid contact and to stay in the tow looking for a good passing opportunity. At least that's what it seems for me on my AM career, Vettel always pulls away from Stroll and saves more fuel because he's pretty much always within a second of the car ahead and Stroll uses more fuel because he's not being pulled along! Could be that, or just because it's just came out and has a couple of issues here and there!

Your fuel seems strange because when you’re in a DRS train your fuel quickly builds up excess, however when you’re in clean air you burn it really quickly!

not sure, but I think when you are in a DRS train, you conserve fuel because of slip stream, so if you can keep up in the DRS train, when you conserving fuel, you can push once you decide to overtake to make a gap (+1s)

floor upgrades are op, just put all the CFD and wind tunnel time in move all the sliders to the right and assign 6 engineers, from early season takes until Spain to arrive for small teams makes a big difference as that affects the most areas of the car. not long after this will be the technical regs for next season where areas of the cars get nerfed and research can be done on different areas of the car. other tips dont be afraid to use CFD and wind tunnel time as they reset at set times of the year always rag the tyres (in the race) conserve everything in practice under fuel at most circuits and run conserve fuel facility upgrades do all the hospitality buildings early can skip doing the weather centre (gives moral boost, board boost, income boost and team attractiveness boost)

3 races in with Alpha Tauri so far. 3 points finishes with Gasly and 1 with Tsunoda. Probably gonna drop Tsunoda pretty quick since he's making alot of mistakes. McLaren seems really slow though regardless of who's driving. They haven't made it into Q3 yet in my career and only scored points once and it took rain for that to happen.
