Nathan Garrett Ofcourse Ricciardo is a better driver atm, he has much more experience. Verstappen wants too much on his plate, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But it causes a lot of problems most of the times. Some things you just have to experience, so you can learn how to do it on the correct way.

Connor Smith he could stand to be a bit more agressive for sure, however i like how, unlike the other top drivers, he doesnt risk everything to keep 1 position. Look at Vettel/Ver; if Vettel left a bit more room like Bottas did then there wouldnt be any contact and he'd only lose 1 position and minimal time. This is not me saying Vettel is to blame because, according to the rules he did nothing wrong, but it is being rude and taking a big big chance on a collision. Bottas is the perfect 2nd driver as he'll do whatever he can to finish the race and get those points which matter alot in the construction standings at the end.

How things have changed in four years. Daniel looked like an unstoppable force that could battle for a championship with a capable car while Max looked like a rookie without any racecraft. Now, Max is a world champion and Ricciardo is rumored to retire. Also, Vettel passed from challenging for the title, to ending in a midfield team and also be rumored to retire. Leclerc until this point didn't seem to be the wonderkid we saw in F2 in 2017 and now he is challenging for the title. Drivers retired, others returned and new talents arrived. 2018 feel way older than what should be

4:53 of course it's not your fault Max; I don't know WTF Seb was thinking by driving on your part of the track, everyone knows you own every inch of the track and they're supposed to get out of your way when they see you coming. This is pointed out very clearly in section 369 sub-paragraph 16, addendum 98, of the FIA drivers manual - All cars must yield and make sure every inch of the track is free for Max to drive wherever he chooses.

Hulkenberg was slower than Perez on the Pirelli tyres of back then, yes. But the tyres have changed and the drivers can lean on them now without destroying them. Also, driver weight is more balanced now, so Nico is not so disadvantaged by his height. All of this is why Hulk is suddenly much faster in 2017 and 2018. I definitely think he would beat Perez now.

Savage sway that underdog power unit allowed Ricciardo to take the win several seconds ahead of everyone else so it was more than capable to take Max to the win. He blew out trying unnecessary move on Lewis on lost position to Daniel and then he fucked up hitting Vettel where he could wait till turn 6 and on new tyres annihilate Vettel in the breaking zone. That power unit might be 0,2 or 0,3 sec slower in race pace (it really isn't) than Merc and Ferrari but you can gain or loose 2-3 seconds on fresher tyre so Max had all the tools he needed to easily take that car to top step of the podium, he just blew it with his stupid behaviour. AGAIN!!!

Jumppe well Bottas looks very good this season and if he can keep it up he will be in the WDC fight this year. It was another stunning start, great overtake on Kimi and really good but sensible while defending from Ricciardo. His outlap after pitting was stunning, combined with great pit stop from Merc allowed him to jump Vettel so he really looks to be in great form. One thing i would disagree is Hamilton being considered best qualifier. Its a myth created by British TV just like the myth on him being so great on the breaks. He is still great driver so obviously Bottas is doing great job by beating him consistently in last few races.

Bottas is missing the "gene" that Verstapen has to much off. Verstapen goes into a gap that is not there, while Bottas does not go for any. In Bahrain Bottas should have made an over agressive move on Vettel. He could basically press Vettel by saying you are either second and I win or last and Lewis wins. nstead he played it safe and became second. It is a bit like what Rosberg was missing.
