these cars are hitting 130+mph and carrying some serious speed through the corners. they're way faster than i thought!

They are fast my friend. Had the lap record at Cadwell. Faster than British GT3 Quali times at Oulton this year.

Hey love your content!! Some advice I think would help, instead of getting onto the power slightly just before the apex, it may be better to rotate the car more towards the apex, and then get on the power more aggressively. So waiting just that tad bit longer. That way your car is more pointed for the straight, making it longer in theory and you’ll have more pedal pressed for acceleration. I think that would help your exits a lot more and it helps the car settle in a corner instead of getting understeer/oversteer on exit due to throttle application. The straighter you can make the corner in most cases, the more likely it is you’ll have less corrections on exit, and be able to gain more top speed on the straights. Hope this helps!!

@@sammoore3687 thanks Sam! Great advice. I was definitely losing out of slower corners. I think my braking is fairly strong but I don’t seem to get good drive out of some corners. I also can feel myself being hesitant on the power, not fully trusting the grip
@sammoore368712 күн бұрын
@ yeah braking is definitely your strong point!! You was catching the nitrous car in front in nearly every hard braking zone. And Yh I think just relaxing a little, getting that extra bit of rotation in to set the straight up will be a massive gain in the slow corners. And you’ll have more feel for the acceleration grip as the car won’t be sliding as much: less corrections will naturally make u more confident to get on the power as u won’t have to worry as much about snap oversteer on exit. Loving the content tho man, im saving up currently for one of these to hopefully join the grid next year!!

@ hard to relax in these cars 😅 everything happens so quickly, a very raw drive. Appreciate the advice and will try to remember it for the new season. Hope to see you on the grid. Message me on insta if you want advice or connections for next season

Great racing to watch, gutted to see the engine go pop, you could hear it starting to let go on the exit of the old hairpin as the note changed as it started to eat the bottom end before throwing the rod. How old was the engine? Great to see you got it back out again with another motor.

@@reallybigkidd thanks! Yeah I could hear it in the car, knew something was about to go wrong big time. Engine was at least from 2021 when it was last racing before I bought last year Although had a rebuild and some repairs in Jan this year

You need more engine. Other cars could walk away from you even when you were in their slipstream.
