My grandpa used to own this, and after 12 years I finally beat his high score and he relinquished his title of pinball wizard to me. Good times

I think you're legally required to carry some sort of wizardly item when you play pinball now.

One hell of a machine. Hefty sound and light spectacle when playing in a dark room. I think this is definitely one of the fastest pinballs ever made. Hats off to the player.

i got chills watching this, grew up playing this at my aunts house and id watch my dad play this for hours.

My favorite pinball machine. I used to play this for hours at the arcade/dirty bookstore in Killeen, TX when I was stationed at Fort Hood.

"I'm locked on...[+]...FIRE!!!", Adrenaline pumping music score, *Rotating Beacons*, FAST ACTION game. The Jagov kicker surprises every single first time player. The response is always "WTF"? CLASSIC Steve Ritchie design.

I played this at DePaul University 1988-1990 when I was in college. I love the siren that sounds right before the multiball. So powerful.

Fun fact: The voice of the pilot is none other than Ed Boon. Who would later go on to make Mortal Kombat.
@Nigaromia4 жыл бұрын
Ed Boon also did the voice of Rudy in Funhouse, I didn't know that until recently.

@@Nigaromia Yup. I think that he was also the model for the football players in their High Impact football video game.

Some of the best memories of my childhood and some of the few memories of my Grandpa. He bought this game back in the 90’s. Really hurt me when my uncle sold his house and left this with it. :(

One of my all time favorites and I dont have many. As I recall this thing had the lights on top and had a hell of a thumper in it. Im not sure if the arcades could set the level of that thumper buts ours was full on. You'd feel it through your hands and jump. I was surprised the glass didn't crack on top.

Just brought one of these home a week ago. I love it! Not tuned as tight as it needs to be, and with me still learning, my max has been 2mil..I love this game! I think it's usurped high speed's spot in my collection.

Wish I could say I kept mine lol. Cab was rough and I didn't want to fix it or potentially hardtop it someday. Great game though, I miss it!
@thilfigr993 жыл бұрын
@@jdamommio I figured it was coming and I didn't want to fix the cab on the one I had... so I let it go. I don't necessarily regret it but I did like f14 a lot. I did end up getting a tron shortly after selling it so that worked out okay I guess.

Yeah. Him and Eugene Jarvis pumped out a classic (Jarvis referring to this game as " Firepower on Steroids"). Also of note is that Ed Boon also worked on this game as well.

This is how the game plays when not tuned to PAPA spec. Fun, and actually not too hard. a respectable score. Still takes some getting used to the speed, though. :) Tournament players can ROLL this game when set this easy.
