If you run a 35x11.50 on factory 18 wheels or 285/75r18 (34.8x11) they will fit just fine. No wheel spacers needed.

I liked your video, very honest analysis, not everyone mentioned the fact that if you only lift the front there is going to be a difference with the rear lift, and that the difference could be 1 -2.5 inches depending on several variables

I have stacked blocks before and have had zero issues. Just don't stack on top of stack. Stacking on stock on blocks should be fine. Love your truck.

Hey you want more power? Night and day for me. Get Superchips Flashpack 5. Run 91 octane performance tune. For fuel run 91 and above fuel. Next dump exhaust mid way from bed. Eliminate that pin hole tail pipe and large muffler to a dumped Flowmaster 40 series. That will get the exhaust flowing. Last put a Cold air intake from Spectre to get the air for that fast flow exhaust. The stock intake is very restrictive. If you ever take it apart you will notice where the air enter is only a 2 1/2 “ hole. Wow how can it breath! Then it has to travel to the top! After doing all that recommend to change the spark plugs and oil. Let me tell you man it feels like a different performance engine was dropped in. I promise you could get 130 mph out of it because I did just to say I did. The reason all that will get you about 50 hp and The Superchips will eliminate the governor and move your redline up from factory.... Just a thought 😉

nice video. helped with a current decision... I like big knobby tires and was going to go with 33's on smaller rims if possible but now I'm considering 35's. they look absolutely great. now if I can just find some of those for 15" rims... probably would need bead lock at that point 😂 as far as the leveling kit would you say that was enough lift? my truck has sever nose dive and I probably also need to replace struts but It handles nicely and I'd rather not mess with that too much.
@ItzCharlemagne4 жыл бұрын
4:28 that’s not how a level works. The front isn’t raised 3 inches. The front is raised a half inch while the back is raised 2 inches because you added a 2 inch block on top of a 2 inch block. The front sits at a 2.5 inch rake so if you put a 3 inch level it will raise the front .5 inch over level. Now you’re sitting at the same rake as you started because of the added block.
@vbstangin4 жыл бұрын
"Lifted" with a leveling kit. And yes i understand your math but no the truck doesnt have the same rake as it did stock. Its a lot less rake now, but yes still has rake. But i knew that going into this and it turned out exactly as i had hoped. I like the rake look ...also i haul a trailer regularly so having a bit of a rake helps with the "nose up" look while hauling.

Did u replace UCA's with stock or did you get the upgraded UCA's that are made for 2-4in leavled trucks that decrease the extreme angles?
@ifuondstairs30375 жыл бұрын
Put this in my dads truck earlier and the uca was touching the strut coil. Your doesn't look like it is touching. How was it when you put it in?
@vbstangin5 жыл бұрын
Yep mine are super close....infact when the suspension droops it rubs the spring. The fix for this is to get tubular uca's. Or if you wanna do it w/o cutting corners ....just buy an actual lift kit. The tubular uca's can cost almost as much as a lift kit....just food for thought.

@vbstangin5 жыл бұрын
Still doing great ...and no its pretty straight forward. The only thing i can say that gave me trouble was that i didnt have my sway bar end links disconnected at first which was making it really hard to get the strut and spacer back in due to the a arm not drooping enough. But if u disconnect that ...its easy peasy.
@aguyonastreet4 жыл бұрын
Luke Perry Don’t get a 3 inch level. I’ve had my truck for a couple of months leveled out with a motofab 3 inch. It destroys your angles and balljoints. Now I’m paying almost a grand to replace my balljoints. Save your money and get a full lift kit.

I'm thinking about getting this leveling kit but worried about getting drawn into a money pit with replacing other suspension parts. Which parts would you recommend to go ahead and replace while I install this to prevent future damage from bad angles and stress from the kit?
@vbstangin5 жыл бұрын
Ive had zero issues with "extreme angles" as they say lol ....imo the added cv angle from a 3" level is negligible. Yes its more than stock ..but i havent noticed any "wear problems" and im still running stock axles with 160k on em. Either way ...if i were you i would just do the level and leave all the parts that arent bad alone. Theres no need to replace parts that arent bad.
@camagic015 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Level arrived yesterday and installing in a few days. I had to replace sway bar links today and everything seemed to be in good shape so all my worries are gone of tearing my truck up with "extreme angles"

How bad were your uca angles? And any issues with rubbing thinking about getting this kit but your the only video I can find
@vbstangin5 жыл бұрын
The angles arent that bad on the uca's or the cv shafts and yes i had rubbing but that was mostly due to the 2" wheel spacers. Ive been driving ever since with absolutely zero issues. Infact my truck had a slight vibration at 70mph before the level and tires and now it rolls out smooth.
@vbstangin5 жыл бұрын
I couldve gotten away with 1" wheel spacers ...which would have helped alot with inner fender clearance, buuut ...the reason i did 2" spacers was because i didnt want my side walls rubbing the uca ball joint. But like i said ...i couldve got away with a 1" spacer.
@DSGBTV5 жыл бұрын

@vbstangin6 жыл бұрын
Timmy Fields well yeah ...lol its a leveling kit. Its gonna make your suspension stretch out further than it was designed. The only way to maintain correct geometry would b to install an actual lift kit. However ive been running this for a while now with 0 probs. But i also have new ball joints and uca's. So take that for what its worth.
