Yes in some countries but the further you are the more expensive shipping is. He needs to ask how much is shipping because that easily can be more than the actual products

@@moneymanifestation9505 and then you need to consider wages for employees in the clothing company (wages for designers, store employees, logistics personnel, finance personnel, product developers, sales people, etc. in countries with much higher wages) and overhead cost (rent for retail stores, offices, etc.). Buisness ain't cheap! Margins arent always what they look like!

I must be misunderstanding mold fees and why they are so hi, these new advancements in technology such as 3D printing should make these way cheaper? Like literally at a fraction of the cost maybe $200 for a new mold? They have plastic and metal 3D printers and also instant recyclers for those materials if they need to be made in different sizes 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Most brands don’t even know the factories ! There is plenty of intermediary pretending to do the stuff themselves.

@@zerma6 that makes sense, I doubt majority of the brands on "display" would actually want to be part of the marketing campaign. Trademark laws and such.

@@channul4887 Control or cost, you cannot have both. Brands can threat to switch vendors, but it would be the same story with any vendors. Also, big brands usually supply their own yarns and material to factories.

@@edkk2010 "control" yeah as in law, trademark law to be more precise. Law doesn't rely on "cost". Unless the manufacturer has a contract which states that they are free to utilise logos of companies they produce on behalf of, they are taking the pi55. Obviously good luck suing them over there.

They do. The brands don’t own factories, they just forward their designs to various suppliers, and overtime, cut down on the number of suppliers they work with and work exclusively with one or two. There are suppliers everywhere, not only China.
