Ah yes my fave MW2 AR such s futuristic looking gun with an awesome unique sight. In my book people complaining about recoil have no thumbs it isnt hard to use just manage your recoil. I literally replay the campaign missions that have this gun constantly for use of it.

Never figured out why ppl hated this. I always tried the 'bad' guns, wanted to be good with em (MP5K, mini uzi, f2000) and god damn the f2k is incredible. Got my first 2 nukes with it.Don't treat it like a typical AR. Play it like a run-n-gun SMG, like the mp5k.

Looking back the mini uzi and the mpk5 weren't that bad but I'm sorry the f200 is god awful. I am a person who likes spray and pray weapons but this thing crosses the line. I wasn't all about the acr and all accuracy and the m27 (bo2) I likes guns like the skorpion evo I liked to put rapid fire on the vector I liked those sac 3 things from aw (didn't play. A whole ton of aw) I liked the chain saw and arx 160 from ghosts you get my point but this gun is absolutely atrocious. Generally I'm good at controlling recoil but this guns is all over the place horizontal vertical left right it's horrible. The iron sights are horrid the muzzle flash is bright on this gun it's like a flamethrower. Most cq ars are pretty good or have some ar qualities. This is a big weak smg with ar handling, speed, and hip fire (better than most ar's tho). I'd rather use an smg it is bad it feels like half the bullets disappear from the gun when u shoot the hit markers are incredible. What good is there to this gun

Honestly, this was always the gun I used when the lobby were talking trash, and not very good. It's a lot of fun on the right map, as it's basically an MP5 with less close range damage, but more consistency overall. It's not my go to gun, but as someone who still plays MW2 semi regularly, the recoil isn't much worse than the TAR, one of the consensus top tier guns.

This is by far my favorite AR in MW2. The high RoF makes it a beast in close quarters, I love the custom red dot sight, and I've found that it can be very effective at longer ranges through burst firing (i.e. single shots or two-shot bursts). Plus, as many will tell you, headshots are easy. Just aim center mass and the muzzle will climb for an easy headshot.

It's nothing like the MP5. The MP5 is made by HK (Heckler & Koch), the F2000 is made by FN ( Fabrique Nationale ), the same company that made the epic FN-FAL !! .HK is German, FN is from Belgium.They also use different bullet. The F2000 fires the 5.56 ammo, like the M16, G36 and a lot more assault rifles and carbines. The MP5 takes smaller bullet.9mm,10mm or .40SW. Finally, the F2000 is the official Splinter Cell gun. Sam Fisher has been using it in all of the SC games. :)

This is a fantastic weapon. I achieved fall camo pretty easily because the ridiculous recoil meant the bullets sprayed towards their head all the time, even from distance. Agree with the steady aim perk. Should have come back to MW3. Very underrated.

@@Frequently1 mw2 competitive was all FAMAS and UMP. and no the MTAR/SCAR/AK were not up there with the UMP - all 3 of those assault rifles were 3-4 hit kills without stopping power while the UMP was only a 3 hit kill without stopping power and would not fall off at range to a 4 hit kill it would have a higher ammo capacity than an assault rifle at 32 rounds per mag while also having low recoil, the infinite range of an LMG and the quick handling and movement speed of an SMG - that includes strafing speed while aiming and there is no stalker perk or adjustable stock attachment in MW2 so the UMP can aim and move at 100% of walking speed and corner check much faster than LMGs and ARs and there is also essentially no penalty for equipping a silencer without stopping power because the 3 hit kill range is infinite. as for the SCAR/MTAR/AK - the MTAR had recoil problems, the AK is glitched and equipping any attachment onto it besides the ACOG or thermal scope multiplies it's idle sway while aiming down sights by x20 while also having obstructive visual recoil as it bounces when shooting making the gun annoying to use at assault rifle ranges because the sights would move off target from this glitch which you have no control over, the SCAR was probably the best and most used of the high power automatic rifles but this one had ammunition problems, it only had a 20 round capacity and 3 spare mags for a total capacity of 60 rounds. The UMP is just better the M16A4 is almost as overpowered as the FAMAS but because the FAMAS has more range there is also just no reason to use the M16 unless the faster reload is worth it to you.....which is really just not a big deal 99% of the time. similarly the F2000 is just obsolete because of the UMP, the UMP is better at close/medium and longer ranges than the F2000 meaning that there is just not reason to use the F2000 even though theoretically it would not be a bad gun if the UMP did not exist, i can see what they tried to do with it, an SMG/AR hybrid that is good at close range and can still have competitive damage at medium ranges if you had the skill to control the recoil. and before we forget not only does the UMP get the speed and handling perks of an SMG....it also get's rapid fire because it is an SMG making it shoot at the same speed as the F2000 but with a 2-3 hit kill damage which also makes it shoot 200-250 RPM faster than the MTAR/SCAR/AK

The F2000 sucks because it's only good at close range; something the SMGs are better at. More mobility, faster ADS and tighter spread - why use the F2000 over an SMG? Furthermore, the F2000 has unusable iron sights and a long reload time. The only way to make the F2000 usable in CQC would be to use sleight of hand. And even then the F2000 is probably still outclassed by the SMGs.

Everything is super in Campaign. Look at Barrett, in campaign you can use it like M14 but in multiplayer it has such a MASSIVE recoil that it has almost no difference from Intervention.

Ege Yılmaz Not everything. And the reason F2000 stands out in campaign is because it is one of the few assault rifles that have a really high rate of fire. The devs did weird things with the Vector. In single player, they nerfed the rate of fire... that gun was a total fail, honestly. In reality, that thing shoots at over 1100 rpm (different settings may change), but in single player MW2, it felt more like 700-800 rpm.

I'm a fan of spray and pray guns, I liked the duel skorpions and duel kiparis (wall bangs were crazy) from bo1 I liked the skorpion from bo2 and I enjoyed putting rapid fire on the vector and the hamr a LOT as well as one time I put rapid fire lazor and extended mags on the qqcb lsw as a joke and ended up going 38-10 liked the arx 160 from ghosts and the chain saw and the sac 3'd s from aw. Accuracy isn't very important to me I like bullet hoses. This gun crosses the fucking line no accuracy no range kicks like a deagle all over the place muzzle flash like a flamethrower shit iron sights no damage its ttk isn't even that good outside of knifing range. It's a bad smg in an ar body with ar handling, speed and an ok at best hip fire. That's the killer. Horrid atrocious disgraceful ugly gun no ammo tiny clip size the close quarters ars should have ar and smg properties. This gun has shit properties.

Extended Mags, FMJ and the Silencer are the most effective attachments for this weapon. I used this weapon in 4 of my classes in MW2. You want to always burst fire at range, letting the recoil to settle before you fire again, it's not that hard to do. Headshots are also common with this weapon, getting all the camos in a matter of matches.

lightweight and ninja are use for exactly that, sweeping around corners instead of just nudging around them, ninja keeping you silent, red dot sight or holographic, being equivalents to hit a longer ranges.

The recoil can sometimes help you. If you aim for the stomach the recoil can push the weapon up to the head and usually gets a headshot.

By definition an SMG fires pistol cartridges (hence the German word for them, Maschinenpistole). Assault rifles fire intermediate cartridge rounds. The AKS-74U fires the 5.45x39mm, which is an intermediate cartridge round, which means that the AKS-74U is, by definition, an assault rifle.

The F2000 is In MW2, and the FAD is in MW3. The F2000 is made by FN in Belgium, as said in the video. The FAD is made by Peru. Aside from the similar rate of fire, they are incomparable.

I like that MW2 has guns that play are different to suit players. You have high damage weapons with low rate of fire or low damage weapons with low recoil.

in contrast to the new games they released, i would have actually re-bought a fixed mw2. this and cod4 have the best core mechanics of any cod. and yes, one could go on but sadly it's of no use. however, glad to be able to speak someone who actually makes a point and is able to argue instead of the usual specimen on youtube that rage all day. have a nice day sir.

i suggest scavenger and stopping power since the fire rate is high and the damage is low and if you're new to it i also suggest tapping the trigger like if it was a three burst gun... it really works and its not as bad of a gun. I actually love this gun and its really enjoyable once you know how to handle it.

i got the 1000 headshot challenge on this gun, it was fun and challenging, after you unlock the Extended mags i started using it as an SMG with Marathon and lightweight, or as a support with scavenger and Hardline, the gun is pretty fun if you still play MWF2 and you are bored of the ACR and the Scar.

@mtcw2790 no, I'm talking about players like wings, hutch, woody, xjawz etc. You don't ABSOLUTELY need to use a certain gun. I never said that you needed to use a gun in this discussion. But given the choice between a magnum or a deagle, people would choose the magnum because it's better in almost every way. Given a choice between the spas and the m1887, people would choose the spas because it's better in almost every way. Given the choice between a TAR and an F2000, etc.

@mtcw2790 and my argument is that even if mastered, the vast majority of other guns are better for almost every single situation, making it not the go-to gun for most situations, thus making it not competitive. I'm an avid user of the TAR and I'd say around 99 percent of the people I start shooting at with the TAR either die, or kill me first. Even if you have instant reflexes it is very hard to get away from something that fires that fast and deals that much damage.

@7777777benny obviously in game it has higher recoil for balance as if it had any thing close to a small recoil people would complain it was over powered because of its high figher rate
