@miamifan2191 Try using it unsilenced while supporting your teammates. It's surprisingly effective. The AR guys quite frequently run into close-range encounters, and the MP5K helps a lot to keep 'em alive. If you're on your own you definitely need silencer + cold blooded. You also need to be very patient - camping corners etc. Direct assault is suicide.

XBox is just as bad as PS3 in that regard. Both are full to the brim of hackers. Only PC's are really secure.

NearSpace04 PC is secure ? Every lobby in which i played yesterday was either modded or had at least one hacker. I wanted to play TDM, i get Domination in which almost all my Classes where restricted (For example, the G18 got replaced with an USP, the TAR with a M4 and so on) And the hacker just form a pistol with their fingers and shoot rockets.....

@281Harry XboxAhoy is just a name, PS3 gamers are OK by me :) The iron sights are best with the MP5K once you're used to them - the real trick is getting close to your opponent.

@Fikakillarna With an SMG? Sleight of Hand + Lightweight + Ninja are great with the MP5K or Mini-Uzi. Pack a Magnum as well and you'll have a quick swapping backup. Fast aim, reload, movement, recovery from sprint with a fast swap secondary make it a great class for those with quick reflexes.

SMGs are not very effective at long range due to their ammunition and short size. when using an SMG in team games, be sure to have a teammate nearby with an assault rifle to tackle enemies at a long distance.

I actually prefer the MP5K, at least aesthetically. I think they're almost equally as effective, but I simply prefer the MP5K design over that of the MP5. Though I like the MP5K in Black Ops over the one in MW2.

Cheap weapon as in it doesn't take skill to win with? I really see a at range and versatility advantage for play styles with the UMP45. MP5K has that quicker hip/twitch aim up and blast due to it's firing rate and steadiness as well as a much better sound. MP5K is more rewarding and effective at close range and aggressive playing but, UMP45 is more effective if you can mix in that ranged element with more stationary play.

Loved this gun. Used it to move away from the UMP45 that everyone was using. Obviously the MP5K could not compete as well at range and did not work with a suppressor as well but in close range this thing absolutely shredded. Rapid Fire + Steady Aim and Stopping Power and you were a force in close range.

I think I'm the only one who don't always follows Ahoy's advices: I always go like a lone wolf with the Silencer and Stady Aim. I go in small routes and places where enemy won't have any chances against me, always shooting from the hip.

Mp5k with extended mags, Scavenger pro, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim is a beast on small maps. Stopping power is just in case the enemies are far. It takes forever to get fmj kills with this gun, but you can usually get 5 fmj kills at estate when enemies are camping near the windows in the house. You really don't need to aim with this gun on small range maps. As long as you hip fire then aim then you'll be fine on small maps.

I've never been a team guy. Or I'd be, as XboxAhoy says, "Lone Wolf". And my experiences with this weapon have been nothing but good on MW2. You can make up for people flanking you by simply keeping your wits about you and constantly checking corners and your behind. Pick you battles. This gun will be amazing for you.

agreed, steady aim fits this weapon perfectly, it tightens the crosshairs to where getting hipfire kills are easy, the perks i use are coldblooded pro, scavenger, and steady aim.

In my opinion this is the most underrated gun in the game. Most people don't like the way it handles. That's because they don't know how to use it. If you treat it like a UMP 45, it won't work in your favor. Here's a tip: throw on rapid fire, sleight of hand, stopping power, and steady aim. Next, don't aim down the sights. I repeat DON'T aim down the sights. Instead, use it like a shotgun. Fire from the hip, and I promise you, it'll perform like a monster.

No. Cause you stop when it is fire-ready. The bolt is already closed and you only have to pull the trigger. But to keep maintained fire you switch mags before firing that round ;)

Oh man, Akimbo MP5K was my favorite gun back then. I only discovered your videos recently, and I've commented like this before, but you're a great CoD player :P also I have more kills in MW2 with akimbo MP5K than I do with any other gun in the game. I felt that with steady aim and stopping power, I was indestructible. 2 bullets, that means up close you can kill your enemy / enemies in a second. It was just too amazing, it felt unfair, but I couldn't stop using it :D

Takes a moment to get used to, but once you get used to the MP5K, It is one of the best weapons out there. Personally, I like to go with rapid fire as it reduces my kill time a lot. However, the Akimbo attachment gave my nightmares.

This gun was insanely good, especially with extended mags and red dot, even some of the other weirder stuff like FMJ and rapid fire was amazing on it. If you could manage the high recoil. The spray cone was pretty big but it wasn't actually that bad because of the sheer fire rate you could sometimes even kill at longer ranges if you really wanted, but up close, you killed just as fast as a shotgun, and often faster with the versatility to kill at medium range and beat out every other SMG in sheer firerate in any close engagements.
