I’m a 55 yo old woman who has never attempted to repair anything!! Thanks so much for your help!! I replaced the water pump without any problems. Cost me 65.00 for the pump. Saved me sooo much money!!

Very in-depth video some say it was to long but I watched it all. You never know what you may miss. Also I clean my filter out from time to time and I’m able to get rid of the F21 code. After the clean I also check the propeller to make sure it’s still spinning with no issues. So far so good. BTW, I have the same exact make, model and color as you Lol. So it’s good to know should I need to buy a new water pump I’ll know exactly what to do. We’ve had the washer and dryer for 12 years and the only thing I’ve replaced was the washer door hinge. Thanks for making this video, it’s ver much appreciated!

The details and good video angles were very helpful. Saved me time and money, thanks! I was easily able to skip to the parts I needed for my particular problem.

Fantastic video, thank you! I'm wondering what tells the pump to turn on and off and sense water to be pumped. Obviously the computer board tells the pump to kick on, but I don't know how it knows when the water is drained. I don't see any float or other means of sensing water. I wonder if the computer is sensing a change in resistance to the pump motor. I'll be opening up my washer later today to begin. thanks again!

Very thorough! My impeller, it too has developed a hole in it. You said you heard that you should get about 3 years use from that pump. Where did you hear that? It's been 3 years now. How has the pump been working?

Yeah most of the Amazon knockoffs have anywhere from 2-3 as a lifespan. Mine worked until a bearing took out my washing machine, about 3 years and was doing great. I’ve used the knockoff heating elements for my dryer and they burn out every 18mths - 2 years but since I’m paying $28-$35 I’m not complaining

“Pliers”= Channel locks. Lol. And I’m gonna put a large hose clam on ours... that’ll make that battle with the black hose A LOT EASIER! It definitely is a battle for sure, ESPECIALLY WITH THE PUMP IN THE WAY, like I had. Good info though. Many thanks. I also found that you must make sure that the ball doesn’t get pinched up in the black hose with the clamp. That happened to me when I put it back on.. sucker backed up and shot water everywhere, blew the dang clamp and black hose right off and water went all over the place.

Really 48 minutes of video? You need to cut your videos no more than 25 and straight to the point.

Hi Joshua I had a whirpool 10kgs series 6 it wash to the drain period and then stop with the code FP I used other funtion to drain water and spin please help me to fix that
@jdmediahub2 жыл бұрын
Ii could be that the Motor control Unit is bad, and or the door lock solenoid is damaged. The door lock solenoid is an easy fix. The motor control unit is costly but still fixable.

At this point ensure there is no obstruction within the drain lines and then replace the pump. You specific pump can be found on Amazon with the units Model number. I have two specific videos on how to replace the pump. It shouldn’t cost you more than $30-$40 USD on a new pump.

Did this end up fixing your issue or did you have other issues after doing this? Thanks.
@jdmediahub4 жыл бұрын
Yes it did. The main point I was trying to get across was the black tubing underneath was so difficult to get back on.

I’m having the F-21 problem right now. How do you tell if the pump motor is bad? I’ve stuck my finger in the hole you mentioned after taking out the catch basin and the part wiggles. Is that normal? How does it supposed to feel when it’s bad?
@Cincy_Kid4 жыл бұрын
@@marcos_bm13 if it's not draining water it's most likely the motor

DEPROGRAMMED thanks. I just ordered a new motor on Amazon like you recommended on your video. Hope it solves my problem.

@@marcos_bm13 it's not my video but I just had the same situation and replacing the motor fixed my problem. I did buy my part from an authorized dealer that sells OEM parts because I've heard horror stories about cheap Amazon parts. Good luck!

You did not show the most important parts !! You did not show how to remove the pump and you did not show how to install a new pump. Give me a break !! We don't need a 48 minute video on how to disconnect and reconnect 2 hoses and an electrical connection.

Honestly this video is 45 minutes too long. You say the same exact thing probably 9 times. Just film what you did to fix the problem, man... Hahah this is hilarious. How to you get the magnet part out?
@jdmediahub4 жыл бұрын
Kyle Cott yeah it’s crazy long. Lol. I really put this up as a way to remind myself what I did. The magnet housing turned off of the pump housing by turning clockwise. Then the impeller demagnetized from all of the sand and debris in the pump. It was shot.
