I have a 2001 ford excursion 7.3 diesel, The factory gauge cluster don’t have a transmission temperature gauge, and has a dial odometer. But the 2002-2003 factory transmission temperature gauge, and a digital odometer. How can I swap to an 2002-2003 factory gauge cluster?

Stupid question, but just to reiterate, in order to do a dash swap say for example a 2001 f250, I would need a frame the same year as newer dash being installed? The newer dash would not swap onto the stock frame for the 2001 f250?

Correct, you need the entire newer dash, not just the plastics.

Question between the multi switches from a 99 and a 08 whats the difference besides style and plug type. They are both a 14 pinout setup. Im looking into the swap but I can't afford 500 for the column helper. And would rather just re-pin it.

They're massively different, there is no ability to repin them. That's what the Column Helper is for, it does all the conversion required to make it work.

What bezel did you use for the climate control and radio?

That's the stock 2012 King ranch dash center bezel. As mentioned towards the end of the video, it features our unreleased climate control bezel kit. It will be released sometime in the next few weeks.

How does one go about swapping the climate controls from a 99 with manual controls to the manual 08-10 controls in the video? Thanks

Those are not '08 to 10 manual HVAC controls shown in the video, those are 2005 to 2007 manual controls, they are plug and play with the '99 to 2004 trucks.

@@SwapHelper sweet I'm heading to Dallas In a hour to pickup a 6.0 excursion instead of swapping my v10 and will be putting 11-16 front end dash etc Into it along with a zf6 because I hate autos 😅 my 06 f350 has been good but I'd rather the knowledge the zf6 won't suddenly not move

@@SwapHelper good day! I see the iPad mini in the 11-16 f250's and the ac/heat controls & all that will be controlled on the iPad after but I wanna do a Samsung instead and have only heard from a shop that the Samsung A 8.0 will work too,but I need to know if it will fit SURE lol....thanks!

@@5starlogistics426 that is unique to the 11 to 16 trucks, you're not going to be able to do that in a 2006. You will either have to keep your manual knobs or your EATC depending on how your truck was equipped from the factory.

Negative. Only the 11 and 12 plastics will fit on the 08 to 10 frame.
