I think it's important to mention that if you fail the 50/50 pity and don't get the rated up unit, the next pity is guaranteed to be the featured unit. That failsafe also carries over to the next banner. So if you fail a 50/50 and the banner ends. The next banner you're guaranteed to get the featured unit on the first pity

Thanks for the info. Looks promising, if devs keep it up. P.S. Little correction here. If I not missremember, PGR have 60 pity, not 70. Copies also only increased stats a bit and improved core passive.

Idk about every character, but many Pgr character copies add pretty heavy improvement to rotation, dmg, sinergy, literally changing what memories you use exclusively depending on how many copies you have.

Correct, PGR is 60 pity. If you're a gambler you can opt for the 80 pity with a higher rate, although no smart gambler pulls on this banner. With the 2.0 characters coming out, it is QOL to get multiple copies. Is it needed, not really, but definitely helps if you want to earn bragging rights that just rewards collectibles, titles, and nameplates

PGR has 60 pity and you only need 1 copy to clear the content. dupps only matter when you want to do account limit test content(super end game stuff), be relevant on the leader boards, or want to make the game super easy compared to with no dupps at all. You'll also grind a currency to rank up a character(equivalent to 1 dupp) naturally cause it's part of your weekly quest that grants gacha currency

You do not need constalations in Star Rail... that rant was a bunch of bull. All character feel super good to play at 1 copy. Pulling for constellations in MiHoYo games is like shooting at birds with a tank... sure you can pull for c6 but why?

Appreciate your vids mate. Maybe make this clearer though, than a bit here and a bit there. What are the actual totals per week and month for F2p? You also missed out on going through the paid packs to see which are worth buying and the costs. Just would have been better if you wrote it up and showed what everything comes to. I'm still quite confused on the overall totals. Can you pull one banner unit per month or no? Or is it only enough to do one round to pity per month, so its 1 guaranteed unit per 2 months taking 50/50 into account? Cheers

i disagree with multiple copies, yes you do need SS quite often, but you only really need to pull one copy as u can farm to SS for all the limited units

But do I need copies to evolve a character? Yes. I didnt hear you say that we can use alternate resources to refine a character (eg. Blue archive eligma, AL bulins). It might be playable now but future characters could still have 'broken constellations' or the difference between being able to clear a challenge or not

At least all the character i've checked so far, just have dmg% increase on the card's modifiers, no new mechanics or anything like that. Sure, having your ultimate deal 500 instead of 400% is good, but they had to have something for the whales. Remember that the game wouldnt be alive if it didnt have whales paying for development. That said, cosidering other games add important mechanics or kit changes into constellations, having R99 do only dmg ups is a good compromise. We dont really know if they're gonna change it in the future, but for now it's fine. Also CN server being 3 patches ahead gives us the time to prepare if some weird changes come. That said, the psycubes might add some new mechanics (the characters' weapons) so we'll have to wait and see how impactful they are or how easy they are to get as f2p. I'll make a video about it when the time comes

Does the pity reset When you get a 6* ? Or 70 pull and u get a 6* anyways? Does the pity stack for next banner ? Like if i am at 50/70 will i havé this amount at the next banner?or start from 0?

For limited banners, pity transfers. If you have 50/70 now, you stop and wait for next banner, you'll start from 50/70. If you get a 6* at any point from 1 to 70 pulls, pity resets back to 0.

Yeah it can be annoying. But if you dont pull on every banner, you can probably save enough to guarantee 1 limited character per big patch (assuming you never get lucky on an early and that you always lose 50/50) Also you only need 1 copy so at least you get a functional character :D

@@josephlove3433 well for max power you need everything obviously. but you'll have a complete and functional character with just 1 copy. The only thing you'll be missing is some % on damage here and there. Considering you can clear most content with 4*, you wont even notice that %

Duplicate system seems similar to Genshin, and power gain is quite sizable. It is foreseeable that future and more powerful units requiring dupes as a standard to unlock potential.

I doubt they'll do it, but i could be wrong ofc. After they built a roster of 30+ characters across the span of months, and they all keep having the same type of dupe power gain ( just some %up on their cards), you can safely assume that's how they wanna do it. If they decided to all of a sudden add crazy powergains or mechanic unlocks, the playerbase will literally explode, both in enrage and quitting. I dont think it'd be a good idea for the game health.

I heard it's because the English script was written by the CN writters and every EN VA lines were recorded/oversea by the CN staff over there and not the localization team. Which explains why the lines are super corny.

as mentioned in the video and by many cn players I know, characters on limited banners get added to the standard banner pool after 3 patches. If you want a specific non-limited character they still have non-limited rate up banners though
