yes, the idea is that you could certainly fish for walleye from the moment you unlock emerald ALLLLL the way to St. Croix. But people usually lose interest in the game before then... so we put good stops in between.

Got the fix for having a legacy loadout on my Xbox controller, now I'm in Red Dead 2. I'm sorry Rockstar walked away, but I'm quite happy continuing without new content. (I'm long winded, sorry) I'm still gonna be watching your channel. Can't come for lives tho since a real life friend and I play RDR2 every evening. I'll check in every now and then on the videos. Yeah, some of the rod stands don’t work on the dock, try to find the one I was using

@@petecat8839 depends on your gear i fill a full 70kg net of bass in about 30 mins irl which is around 11k dollars per 70kg but in emerald most i caught was about 30kg or 6k dollars

For a while I would just grind on Lonestar with a silver casting spoon for bass untill I could go to rocky lake with a nano spinner

Hey brother, I’m wondering if you can help, I’ve been at Emerald lake from level 15 to level 21 and managed to gather 50k cash and wondering what the best set up will be to go to the everglades as I don’t wanna get a bad rod or having to fight with a fish to reel in please help 😊

I mean, with the “best rod in the game” which I think is at 24… you won’t have to fight them too much, and you can use that rod and reel pretty much anywhere there’s 12-25lb fish in the future- otherwise, I’d just keep on fishing and save up for a good match rod for pike eventually

Also I’m using the Elemental 6’7 Rod for these Walleye’s and when they’re usually quite big in fighting with them sometimes they pull 165 ft in the water lol is there any better rod and setup for walleye

Ive just been hanging out at Emerald with 3 feeder rods on the 3 rod stand you can get for bait coins. Im usually juggling all 3 rods

Why you didn't use any leader?How the leader works in the game?

Few different reasons to use a leader- 1. Gives you an opportunity to use a titanium leader for fish with sharp teeth. 2. Gives you an opportunity to use a fluorocarbon leader to make the line harder to see for fish. (in theory) 3. Gives you an opportunity to equip a slightly lighter line so that when the line snaps due to a large fish, you only lose your hook and bait, and not your bobber or sinker. So if I'm not using a leader for any of those reasons, then I must not care about any of these reasons enough to use one. Especially if the available leaders compromises using max drag.

Using 17 lb braid on 6 lb bass seems a given in the real world…. Especially with 31.5” recovery and crazy reel speed but it Still takes 9 minutes real time to pull one in. I must be confused at how you’re so in tune…..

For rods it’s really up to you I’ve caught Muskie up to 50/60lbs but for bait I’d definitely use the black spinner with the yellow dots and a 2” tail. I used to nail them all day long with that
