My family and I live in Pakistan. My grandfather sponsored my father and us on an F3 visa in 2011, which was approved in 2015. However, my grandfather passed away in 2016 in USA. Recently, in November 2024, I received a "Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation", and an email regarding "Introduction to Document Collection" arrived. We have many relatives in the USA who can complete an Affidavit of Support for us. We think we had asked one of our relatives to inform the relevant authorities about my grandfather’s death in 2019, but they said they informed them. However, we are not sure how or whom they informed, or if they did it correctly, as we have not received any response from anyone. Is it possible for our case to still proceed? what should we do if not ?? I'll be very thankful if you solve my Question as me and family are in stress thinking about this everyday.
