Still learning how to breed my Barless birds. but these Babies all perform well and I will be using them in my future Barless Project. If you know more on how to breed for it, share your knowledge.

The original birds are from James Turner. The guy I got them from brought in some pensom in the mix over the years. He wasn't sure, but he said they rolled, but the last few years he stopped flying due to heavy losses. My goal, was to bring the barless gene into my DC and start a barless stain off them. Of course, I'm not there yet as this is my first generation and they are bar birds. Recently, I judged a show in Hutchinson, mn. A good friend, John Johnson knew of another guy who had some barless that he was moving away from. So, being that I'm the judge, he told Tim that I would be there and so I met Tim and he blessed me with the brown barless. Tim's birds go back to a different breeder. I'll find out their names after I reach out to him. He told me, but I don't remember exactly. So as you can tell, I have 2 different families of barless to work with. I just found one of the brown barless cooing, so I guess one is a male!! Which makes it even more exciting. Tim also told me, the barless carry the extreme dilute (lemon as some refer to). I'm see which way I'll go...
