Hello! Yes, unfortunately you'll need the dealership to activate the tune. The alternative is to just get the Dinan BMW tune, which is what I did. It adds significantly more HP than the JCW tune.

There is an F55 Specific JCW Pro Exhaust. The F56 version will not fit on the F55, due to the difference in wheelbase dimensions.
