For those wondering, for tracker and ghost mk2 you cannot add nose turret or manually attach weapons to nose. For the top turret you cannot put any ball turret from shop in manager or manually. Only option is manually attach a f7a Fair or unfair it is how it is

With all your focus on these stealth builds have you tested if cross section is blocked by being behind an asteroid or another ship? In those circumstances only heat and em should be detectable but I'm somehow guessing those cross section detections will still occur even if your cross section is hidden behind something.

They already don't. Hell em and ir are blocked by larger sources ass well.

Not everyone has access to F7A MKII to pull the top turret. For people don't have F7A, what is the solution to add top turret module to F7C?

im pretty sure you can usser the c4-160f ball turret you can buy from center mass, it lets you put 2xS2 onn the top, its not as good as 2xs3 bbut its better than nothinn, itsss currently bugged tho

Ask for it on the global chat. That’s how I got mine. And don’t forget to save changes to loadout on the mobi so you can keep it.

I keep thinking that at some point stealth will become more faceted. Meaning that even if the cross section were 10,000 it would still be a huge benefit to have a low em or ir to make it less likely to be targeted by munitions of that type. Or, it could make it possible to hide in a physical environment such as around asteroids or ground terrain.

While testing the last patch. A friend of mine was rocking with out coolers so he could Max out the shields/wpns/etc etc I fired IR missiles at him and he had to drop 12odd flares to flare it off... we did it a few times and all times he struggled to flare off IR... we assumed because his IR was through the fkn roof... but no way to know really... could have just been decync:p

You can manually detach and attach components with tractor beams. This way it was also possible to give the f8c 10 guns

yo fox cap didnt do anything at all in my tests but the Ghost HULL itself has the cross section reduction.. idk if cig did this on purpose or accident... all the bare chassis should have same stats and the bonus/debuff should be tired to module. The tracker hull has way higher IR/EM than the ghost with everything stripped off but applying the tracker module back to it does nothing either

Ghost has void armored hull. Cap helps but not only stealthy piece of ghost.

The MK1 had the void hull armor. Not MkII - the center dish is it's signal dampner. No mention of void armor.

CIG Makes no sense at all on this. I bought the same exact Turret from Centermass but I can't equip it on my F7C-S MKII Ghost

Because it's not the exact same turret. The only turret buyable is for the mk1s. On the mark2 you can only put the turret from the F7A mk2 at the moment

There is no issue the cap is just that a cap that covers the middle and has never been a component.

FPS gear is gone once lost until the next patch. At some point CIG has stated there will be a way to reclaim / craft it again but right now, it's not possible.

They have told us since the beginning that it was just a cap and not a stealth module, it is the "Void Armor" and components that give the ghost it's stealth.

Only the Cap for the F7C MK II is for cargo ,this ghost MK II is for armor and stealth

Lol pretty much I can get the mk1 em down to 2-3k easy other than two size four guns I can't really see a reason to upgrade to this new ghost other than the passive statistics that has for stealth and other things that's listed on erkel. Can't see the worth tbh
