A "Cat" that scape from a '40s american standard on to design a plane around an engine, looks nice and flyes also.

If THAT doesn't get your juices flowing you're NOT an airplane nut!!. BTW, AWESOME camera work. We seldom see tracking this good.

From the 'Cats generation, the F7F is the only one who really impressed me, the F4F, F6F - included here even the P47 - are the bad shaped planes ever, if you don´t agreed with me, okay, it's only my opinion... thank you for posting this video clip !

Yeah.. i think the F7F more beautiful than the P-38

Does Northrop Grumman still make these on demand for private owners? I wouldn't mind buying one with more modern material and beafer engines! Call it the F7F 17 Tiger Tomcat. Yeah Baaaaby! ;)

This beautiful cat has the beefiest engines you could own, and the sound is just so good.

Another impression: this plane was only conceived with radial engines because american engines industries known nothing yet about jet engines, the F7F was a perfect platform for two of them, even RR Derwent centrifugal flux turbines...

WIsh pilots wouldn't use these stupid smoke trails. I want to see the aircraft pristine, not looking like its engines are on fire plus the smoke starts to cloud the air after a while if there's little wind.
