8:37 I use to work at a BMW dealership. Coolest F80 owner ive ever met was a woman who was in her early to mid 50s. She had a mineral grey 6 speed, with coils, the stock snowflake wheels, catless DP w/ M perf exhaust and she changed most of the leather in the interior to alcantara.

As a current F80 owner I can say these cars are a joy to own. In stock form are trouble free. As stated in the video, proper modifications with high quality components will help you retain trouble free ownership for years to come. I believe the F80 M3 will go down in history as the last of the “analog” M cars.

Have owned a 2018 F80 comp manual for 2 years now. I'm 43 - married with kids. Have an AA EL midpipe on order for it. Love the car - will be in my garage for a very long time.

Great video, that Austin Yellow is 🔥. Coming up on my 3rd year of ownership also. 2nd owner of my 2016 manual m4. Other than some light oem+ modding, the only maintenence I've done to the car is oil changes, new tires and brake pads. It's at 42k miles and I'm loving it. See you in a couple months 👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏾

It's a tough decision. The manual has always been fun for me to drive around. Keeps me engaged but the DCT is a great transmission. So it's definitely going to be a tough decision

Hi, I’m one of the older owners from the UK, just touching 60 and love my F80. Had it 4 years now in Ferrari Red, no mods as same as you fast enough stock for me. Have you touched your crank hub, I have left mine due to the fact it is still stock. I know it can still go but very few have had issues. All the best for your channel in 2024, keep up the good work.

Hey, thanks for checking out the video. The F80 is an incredible platform and even in stock form. Ferrari Red is an amazing color and very rare on the F80. I never actually did the Crankhub on my F80. I was on the same bolt and never tuned the car. It's an overblown issue but if you were going to add some more HP, it might be a good preventative maintenance item.

My 18 F80 Imola 6MT was pretty solid only had 13K miles plan to keep it for a longer period, not a big fan of the G80 front designed and fake vents look more like a Lexus IS.

No Major issues. The only thing like I mentioned was the crankhub needs to be reinforced if you plan on modding power. Other than that it's pretty reliable

Currently running Michelin PS4s. Also need to factor in if youll be driving that car in the rain. I heard the Cup 2's arent the best compared to the PS4s.

BBS FI-Rs don't need spacers. They're fitted perfectly without them by BBS.

Everyone has they own taste and style. In my opinion it does need spacers and I'm glad I did put them on. It gave it a flush Fitment.
