Doctrinally you could fire the HARMs while the S-300 is firing at the TALDS, it has to keep the radar on then to guide it's own missiles.

I wonder if a surface version of the TALD could be used by capital ships to defend against a vampire swarm.

They already do. It’s called the Nulka and when it is launched, it hovers about 100 feet from the surface and mimics the electronic signatures of a ship.

I still play a fee different games on my PS4 but I'm assuming that this is all done on a computer platform. It looks really fun and something that I am interested in getting into possibly. Although currently all I have is a tablet and I'm sure if I were to get into this I would need to get some sort of PC gaming platform of sorts in which I have not any real clue as to where to start as in what I would really need.

Hey, I've made a few comments on some of your older posts. Is there a way I can watch you live as you are running missions? Also is the an actual game or is it an actual simulation? I left a comment on one of your earlier posts where I mentioned that this reminded me the combat tactics simulator system that we were testing out through the training department I was in while in Okinawa, JP. It was all set up on a designated server and the building was set up in separate rooms that were set up for different types of assets and such. Also having a separate room for an aggressor force which my department would end up being most of the time. It was I guess you could say it was half call of duty mixed with then at the time real world scenarios. This was back in 2008 so I am more than sure that they have greatly improved on that training system. After all the individuals were set up at their computer in whichever section that were a part of the missions would start and carry on until the missions had ended regardless of time frame some would be fast and short and some could carry on for hours. If an individual was KIA within the system they could be respawned back but not nearly as fast as if it was in a game. It was more like you had to wait out your time in the penalty box and then you could come back in depending on the missions length.

Ok not to sound stupid but what is twitch? Imagine 51 year old Combat Marine Operator. I'm not exactly in touch with all the different platforms out there. I have a hard enough time keeping from getting banned on bookface and instascam

what about make a vedo for J20 vs F22 again? The J20s are likely to imporve their engine, the latest ws-15, allowing the J20s to have abilities of supercruise and vector control we love vedo about J20s plz!❤

Hmm... As a glide weapon they should inherently be designed for lift and low drag right? Makes me wonder about how they would effect the aircraft in comparison to a missile or a bomb.
@hybrid_grizzly

Modern bombs and missiles are also designed to be as low drag as possible.

Wouldn't the TALD irl be configurable to mimic a specific type of aircraft/cruise missile in its emissions?
@jameslarson319

Yes, they are designed to imitate almost every known signature of aircraft, ships, even land vehicles.

They are decent but are not the best since they fly alot slower than fighters would and sometimes the AWACS just wont pick them up due to the speed

You can drain a site if you go 4 by 18 with 12 by TALD's.
