Kicker has always been loud and given a greater flat response than most speakers but i like crazy lows. Sundown and American Bass for me mostly.

MB, I have to agree about the Solobarics. I had two twelves in a box built by Kicker on a Kicker 2400 amp and upgraded electrical in my SUV. I understand when you talk about 140s being loud. Those bass notes were something else. I feel some people haven't heard a true 140+. Great comparison you just did between the two subs 💯👍

I’d imagine the l7 15 with fs of 22.8 and the solo 15 with an fs of 25.2. The L7R would of course perform better at those Lower notes.

I got the old l5 15 from 2005 like new that thing in 6 cf box is louder than anything else does 144 on 30hz in a renault clio on around 600w can take rated 750-900w but gets to loud for me at the moment and gets down like crazy can be compared to much more powerful subs

Question for you, i have an explorer sport trac. Previous owner cut holes for blow thru. 2- 4x10 one on either side due to party window. Truck box volume is 29 cubes. What would you recommend to put back there while still keeping some box space?

I get what we sayin for sure. The only problem is who legitimately has 6 cubes available per sub. 2 15s . I rock with kicker especially the soloX. But if my 1 Skar VXF15 does 145 all day on 3k in 3.4cubes theres no way to justify using all that space for 2 subs to do the same #

@@M.B.Enclosures I got u. I have a 06 Tahoe. Yes it has 12net. But my point is I don't need to use up 12 net to do a 145. If I use 12net I lose a lot of the space for luggage and family . To each their own tho dawg.
