The Federal Aviation Administration is increasing its oversight of United Airlines after multiple incidents, including a piece of the outer fuselage falling off one jet, an engine fire and a plane losing a tire during takeoff. United’s vice president of corporate safety, Sasha Johnson, said “We welcome their engagement and are very open to hear from them about what they find and their perspective on things we may need to change to make us even safer.”

It doesn’t matter what your race or gender are if you’re the hardest working, most skilled, and results-producing person for the job. Meritocracy. The combination of integrity-lacking corporatism and counterproductive greed, coupled with weak executives who think they can cash in on the false virtue of DEI, is what leads to things like this.

There are many more issues with UA that you don’t know about. I stopped flying with them in 2006 due to improper maintenance. They were just lucky so far that no one died

Gives employees a great reason to refuse required travel by employers. The are putting themselves out of business. Say goodbye to travel as we know it. Unless you have to be in another city, don't get on a plane.
