What's the difference between an aircraft that is IFR capable versus IFR certified?

IFR Capable means that the aircraft has the required IFR equipment on board, and IFR certified means the equipment has been checked (certified) that it is legal to use/fly, e.g. VOR checks done within 30 days preceding flight, the GPS Nav log current, etc.

@@FalconImagery ok. Makes sense. Thank you. Altimeter pilot static system checked by qualified individual every two years too. I was thinking that may be it, but wasn't sure. Thought there may be more. Thanks.
