I can't believe I didn't know @DimashQudaibergen_official .
His voice is one in a million, such an unique and expressive singer!
His vocal technique and musicality are impressive, but what I appreciate even more is his maturity, focus and confidence when it comes to performance. As a mindset coach I'm deeply interested what leads to such peak performance mindset and what is stopping us from achieving this state.

@@FaanaMusic Humorously, he walked into his hotel room that night and when he walked out the next morning, he was met by a cadre of dark, serious men. His facial reaction was like, woah! Did I do something wrong? Are they police or security? He was reassured it was security and Necessay 😊. He didn't know how much his performance had changed the state of China. It was a beautiful show all the way through! I especially liked how they gave intros for all performers and how they all got along and supported each other. This was not a competition of new singers. "I Am Singer" is a competition/exhibition of established artists brought together for a show of bragging rights for a year, so to say. I first saw it toward the end of cv lockdowns, so I binged on it. 🎉😊❤

Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and I was informed that he is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was in Los Angeles, USA, working on new material of his that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") are eagerly awaiting. He sings in multiple genre.a crossover artist and his concert reportoire are sung in 7 languages. @@kriknut1 yes I know, it was built to support the creativity of Dimash, they are industrial partners but the finances comes from Dimash. He produce his own songs, he is the main producer, his father said so during an interview, he is just modest to call it his own.

This performance 7 years ago made him a superstar in China and in many other countries. Today he is widely recognised by professional musicians as the greatest all-around singer/performer the world has ever seen. People fly in from all over the world to see him in concert usually held in large arenas or stadiums. He is the only singer to have perfect 6 octave range and have the ability to sing opera / folk / rock / pop to top professional standards from bass baritone to soprano whistle in 15 different languages.

The best singer in the world of all time. Dimash sings in 7 octaves. You just don't understand what he is. He sings in bass octaves. He's not a tenor or anything else, he sings in any voice that you don't understand. This is the level of proper singing. He's just a genius or a guy from Kazakhstan. Learn to sing, guys.

​@debbiemorgan859 Because a tenor has limits to the higher ranges a counter tenor isn't limited as much as a tenor would be. But, it's just a music terminology that's really the only 'closest' way to put in a context *where he is in the musicians world in a way that makes sense for others but we know that Dimash really has no limits and can't be put in a 'certain box' ie; soprano, tenor, bass, tenor, etc...❤ I hope this helps you a little bit. #Dears4Life❤

I loved your reaction. I have followed him since he sang SOS in 2017. Dimash sings in all registers, even off the piano - in not just one song, but one phrase. Same with all genres, he switches back and forth as he feels what the emotions of the song warrant. Prepare to be amazed. I have seen vocal coaches cry, swear in astonishment, set down their headphones and walk off camera. Two even fell off their chairs! He has trained almost his entire life for this. It was discovered at age 5 that he has perfect pitch. He says he lives and breathes music…if you cut open his brain or his heart you will find music. He was 22 in 2017 when this happened. This year in May he turns 30 and is even better now.

Dimash began his classical vocal and instrumental training at age 5. It was at that age that he first obtained a VHS of Placido Domingo and made the decision to make music his life. Just a few weeks ago, he was able to sing with the great Maestro Domingo with a program called Virtuosos. He does have perfect pitch He has completed three university degrees in music. His masters is in Music Composition and he completed his Doctoral studies Spring of 2023. He sets aside hours a day to rehearse vocally and playing instruments. He is no slacked, being totally committed to his craft. His current vocal range is over 7 octaves. He did not ocme in first place in this competition because he is not Chinese. He is from Kazakhstan.

Today DIMASH 's lower range is very much deeper and the high is still the same. He covers all the piano keys, anf some off the keyboard.

Dimash sings many genre from opera to rap. He plays seven instruments, directs, models, sings in 14 languages, speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, pretty good in English now and some mandarin. He is educated, devoted to his family and country and very much the humanitarian. He has sell out concerts in many overseas countries. I’ve been to Latvia, Dubai and Turkey already and going to Budapest and Istanbul to see him in may, when he will be 30. He continues to study, to improve vocally and try new things. Every song us a surprise. Try Stranger from new wave 2021. It is in English and shows various vocal techniques. I’m from U.K.

You barely scratched the top of the iceberg. That isn't even his best performance on that song, and it was 7y ago. His range goes from bass to soprano and even off the piano, besides all sort of techniques (head voice, belting, vocal fry, whistle, tribal, opera, and anything else you can imagine). You should checkout Stranger, Sinful Passion, The Story Of One Sky (his own composition) and his duet with Placido Domingo. Then, you won't get out of this rabbitt hole.

Dimash inició su formación musical prácticamente desde el inicio de su vida, ya que es hijo de dos grandes cantantes Kazajos por lo que desde muy temprana edad el escenario se convirtió en su segunda casa. Desde los 5 años comenzó a tomar clases de canto y a participar en concursos exitosamente. Cada día de su vida ensaya un promedio de 3 horas, y a veces un poco más. Dimash es también multinstrumentista, bailarín, cantautor, productor y director. Ha demostrado tener grandes dotes en actuación, lo cual se ve reflejado en cada interpretación que hace. @@FaanaMusic The spelling is because Kazakhstan is changing their alphabet from Russian Cyrillic script to the Latin based alphabet. Long story short K is Q or Q is K. Qudaibergen is the new Kudaibergen is the old. You will see it both ways.

This was not all of his range at all. It was also in 2017 and he has only gotten better with time. He just did a duet with Placido Domingo which you can find on his channel. He can go lower and has gone higher as well. He does a host of different genres and sings in many languages while being fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English now becoming his third language with a little Mandarin thrown in for good measure. He is a very humble, respectful and appreciative artist. Please do more.

You might enjoy glancing at a moderately recent piece written and performed by Dimash--El Amor en Ti. He sings extended sections of the piece in different parts of his range, from low to very high, from opera-like style to pop. His ability to sing in many octaves in many styles is outstanding. But that isn't even all that he brings to his music.

This was 7 years ago. His low register expanded (he obviously worked on that during the pandemic). He can do bass notes now too, up to D8. Hope to see more Dimash reactions. He is an amazing Artist! ❤

this is a competition where already known Chinese singers compete,, Dimash was put in as an unknown in China..... no one knew that he would be in the competition until the end... unfortunately he had second place because only Chinese could win in this competition singers... But Dimash received an additional amount of awards as compensation...

After listening to him for the last 3 years, I believe he is a Baritone with an extended range each way. He has pieces that go into the stratosphere and then into the vocal fry range! Dimash is perhaps the most gifted and talented vocalist in recorded history. There's something about him that is both physically and stylistically entirely unique. He out-ranges the top end of a piano. He can go much higher than he showcased here. I think his "comfortable" range is somewhere in the 6 or 7 octave category. You're just starting on your Dimash journey. You have SO much more to experience.

The long intro was only because he was the youngest contestant AND only foreigner. When I first watched this performance in 2017, I thought he was the best singer I'd ever witnessed. In the seven years since, he has topped himself over and over again. His baritone has grown rich and lovely since then. His concerts are usually about 3 hours long, so he has great endurance. He's one of the world's most generous, humble people who supports many humanitarian charities, food relief, etc. and has been recognized by the Pope for his efforts. He's also a UN Ambassador. He must not need sleep.
