I am from U.K. and have seen Adam Lambert in concert here with Queen. He is amazing. But on discovering Dimash, I listen every day and have travelled to three different countries just to see Dimash. I am also going to his concerts in Budapest and Istanbul. I’ve never travelled to any other country to see a singer, only Dimash, so I think you can see how I rate the two singers. Dimash goes above and beyond as a performer. Has learnt songs in many other languages, plays a few instruments, dances etc and experiments with styles and seeing what else his voice can do, all the time. Such dedication. Plus, he is respectful, loving, patriotic and humanitarian. Us dears appreciate Dimash for his whole personality.

I don´t think you were entirely wrong. Dimash´s natural voice type is high tenor. You were wrong only about the "nothing special", because Dimash has a huge extension in both directions, that is, in both his lower and higher register. Normal people are limited by their natural voice type, Dimash is not!

Thanks for your reaction. Keep listening to Dimash, it is an experience. Adam Lambert is a great singer indeed. But Dimash is THE greatest singer and vocalist of this generation and perhaps the last 30 years. This is not just fanboy talk. This is fact if you consider every part of what makes a vocalist extraordinary (vocal technique, vocal control and range, texture in tone, breath control, pitch control, versatility, ability to sing anything from opera to pop to any genre and to switch between voices flawlessly etc). He is unique as an artist and deserves even more recognition than he gets.

Igor Krutoy as I understand is a great composer and he is composing music for Dimash’s voice. I think he wrote this one. I love Dimash ❤ and I love Igor ❤ two beautiful, incredibly talented and creative artists 😊 I’m 67 years old now and was raised on opera. My favourite all time singer before Dimash was Ivan Rebroff who God bless his soul passed on a few years ago. He was Russian and Jewish, born in Poland 31 July 1931. His was the best voice I had ever heard even though I love the three tenors, Placido, Jose and Luciano. Ivan had a 6-7 octave range and sang the most beautiful and excellent songs about Russia. You could feel the tradition and pride in the music. His music conjured up images of men on strong horses riding through the snow or men in their red outfits doing a Russian dance. He sang Fidler on the Roof in Paris, matinee’s and evenings for one thousand days straight. I saw him three times on the times he came to Australia. Now 😁 here is Dimash ❤❤❤ Oh my goodness he is better and when I hear songs like Stranger and Wind in the mountains I am transported to a realm where you think he is calling up his fatherly ancestors. I absolutely love his music 🎶 Although I can’t sing a note, I’ve always been happy to be a nobody who was born to appreciate great music however when I hear Dimash I truly wish I could be a part of their tradition. He touches our souls and takes us with him on his journey 😁

Well, two fandoms fighting in the comments helps the algorithm hence, his channel. I like his reactions so far, but I don't think I'm watching this one, both are great. No Adam's fan is going to say Dimash is better and no Dear is going to say Lambert is better, so it would be a pointless discussion that could get ugly as soon toxic fans from both sides get involved.

Absolutely no comparisons, you cannot compare Dimash to anyone. It doesn't matter who you want to compare him to, he does consider himself the best, even if we know he is. After you have listened to 50, 60, 70 performances by Dimash then u will understand more about who he is and what he can do. If you are going to do comparisons you are wasting your, and our, time, so just listen and appreciate what you are hearing. PS, I went to his concert in Prague in 2022. You should watch that.

He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Qobyz for that. The Qobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. In the end of Stranger he introduced him to the audience and he thanked them. As a Kazakh he speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him.The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. Please react to Olimpico or also Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

He has many more tricks up his sleeve! Keep reacting and you’ll see. 😊 Igor Krutoy is a billionaire composer/ singer / musician who came out of retirement to compose music for Dimash as soon as he heard him for the first time. Every time you see him at the piano in one of Dimash’s videos, the song was composed by him. Please don’t compare him to anyone! There will be fights. And for us it’s not enjoyable. For Dears there is no other you can compare him to. Not even Adam Lambert. Just check out more of him. 😉 Also Dimash’s covers, that have also been sung by other singers, are really old and he sang them mostly at singing competitions. They get compared to home studio renditions that are quieter and frankly easier to sing. But still fights start about him „always exaggerating“ 🙄 even though he has tons of quiet songs as well. And no one is listening to each other. 😥 So please NO on the comparisons! 😜

You were right about tenor, not quite about the counter-tenor, but tenor yes. His Bel Canto teacher called Dimash a tenor, he trained as a tenor in Classical, and he calls himself a "tenor who uses soprano range in the culmination of the song", or "as an expression of emotion". He is most at ease in tenor, and soars into soprano without effort. He can sing in baritone as well, and that gained depth and body with time. He has a huge range in his toolkit, tenor is where he is most rested, but with endless nuances and textures. Not to forget that he can pull his chest-head mix up comfortably up to F#5, and then beyond, to a C6. For his gorgeous deep baritone, expressed in long phrases, try "El Amor En Ti" : kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmizfn9vish-rac .He composed it too. A very interesting song. I believe the range is bigger than in "Stranger". And completely different style. I was at the concert where it premiered, and it was quite an experience. Regarding comparing Dimash to other singers, I don`t know about "better" or "worse", all I can say is that, at least for more than 2 years, Dimash is the artist that I personally love listening to the most. There are so many nuances and textures, and then there`s the variations, and then there`s the perfect blend between great technique and emotion, that my science brain is happy, my emotional brain is happy, and on top of it all, there is no cheap melancholic underlying nuance in his singing, tugging at my heart and making me depressed. This is the main thing that stuck with me, the biggest difference between Dimash as a "good singer" among other "good singers". My heart is at peace listening to the way he delivers a song. If the topic is painful, and he has some songs with a painful topic, something in the resolution of the song, something in the chords, something, makes it a healthy catharsis, with a touch of peace and encouragement or hope. That is unique for me, and makes Dimash irreplaceable for me. He could keep only a third of his 7 octave range, and I would still find him irreplaceable. And, since my ear was exposed to his gorgeous technique, watching professionals like you explain what I`m hearing, learning to distinguish a lot of vocal techniques, I have started to notice and appreciate them in other singers too, and now I can listen to them with admiration for some details that I now notice, respect the work that I now realize that goes into it, even if I don`t particularly like the style of the music, or the lyrics etc. I appreciate singing much more now, in everyone I hear, since I heard Dimash and learned what is going on. Thank you for posting this, I loved the setup for this video 😁 Looking forward to your next videos :) 👍

Hi, the forerunner to a violin, Kobyz, (ko be yiz), is an ancient Sharman's ceremonial and healing instrument of the Great Steppe and Turkik and Baltic heritage. It has a goatskin covered chamber, 2 horsehair strings, and is carved out of a single piece of wood. The artist playing it is world's best according to Dimash. Most excellent singers have a career and become stars, but Dimash was destined, forecast, had dreams that come true, has studied music singing piano and other instruments starting at 5, and has been onstage at 2, has degrees, is a Master of Composition, is studying for a Doctorate, and has a connection to heaven that I don't see with others. He has unusual focus and drive to stay absolutely on course, and has outstanding personal characteristics that most stars let go of. He is humble and loving to all, very respectfull, very honouring more like Koreans, and is awarded as a National Treasure of Kazakhstan by his government. They consider him to be a musical ambassador for peace and for Kazakhstan. And now the United Nations is going to incorporate him into a world peace platform, so I've heard. His musical and singing, acting and directing talents just keep unfolding at such a high level that is astounding, so it is not fair to anyone to be compared with him. He keeps on raising the bar as he goes, and is about to turn 30. So there is still a long way for him to go in many areas. He sounds to be impossible as a human, and you have heard the expression that angels walk amongst us, and perhaps that is what he is. But whatever he is, he is a huge blessing to mankind as his frequencies heal and refresh, and he is helping to restore music and grow it to a level it would have reached ages ago if Hollywood had not changed the basic frequency of music to create chaos and distortions in health and living. If you have the time to listen, you too may be addicted and blessed by his sounds and presence.

Думаю, сталкивать фанатов двух певцов в одном видео - плохая идея. Да, вы получите много комментов, но и много ссор, в которых в итоге обвинят вас 😊

Igor Krutoy is the composer and has collaborated with Dimash frequently and loves composing for Dimash’s amazing vocal skills. Olimpico was one of the first compositions from Igor Krutoy for Dimash. I appreciate Adam Lambert, but Dimash is next level. Maybe a comparison may introduce some of Adam Lambert’s fan base to Dimash! Cheers from Canada!

Welcome to all that is Dimash! He has a vast catalog with many different languages (16) and almost all genres. He defies the logic of music. We Dears never tire of seeing someone new discover Dimash. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for an insightful entertaining reaction! Subscribed Adam is a great singer but Dimash is the preeminent vocalist of this our time. I seriously doubt that Adam has a usable range of 7 octave 7 semi-tones like Dimash.

You can watch Dimash and Celine Dion perform a virtual duet of "Jasmine Flower" or Dimash and Lara Fabian doing "Know" virtually as well. Amazing. Better yet you can watch Dimash, Lara, and Aida Garufalina (sp) sing "Ti Amo Cosi" live as a threesome. Good luck on your journey down the Dimash rabbit hole. You will eventually realize two things. One, he's the best singer/performer alive today and two, he's an alien.

I would recommend not to do the comparison. Adam is a wonderful singer, one of the very best. But he would lose very quickly, Dimash's range in terms of pitch, expression & styles is just too great. A comparison would only lead to bitterness between devoted fans, and that's the antithesis of what Dimash is all about.

Dimash is both Tenor And Specialist. Special because he can access fully all other type of vocals as if they are native.

Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian composer who retired and then when he heard Dimash sing, he came out of retirement and writes for Dimash and his wide range. He is the piano player.

❗DR. QUDAIBERGEN soon. He has finished his Doctoral Program coursework and writing his thesis for a PhD in Composition (composing). Dimash remained a FULLTIME honors student and performed at the same time his entire career ! A first in the industry and in one of the most difficult and demanding academic programs in the world. In addition, he's CEO and sole head of a leading production company and produces all of his work, concerts, music, videos, films in house down to ticket sales, another first in the industry. Amazing man !

Like most others commenting on here, I too listen to Dimash on a daily basis and agree, he touches my soul. The more you learn of the man, Dimash, the more you will recognise he is not just a great singer, that's a given but ther Dears understand what I'm trying to say, it's his humanity, humility, kindness, patience and love for all of mankind that we are in awe of!

I hate when people fight in the comments. I don't know why people think there can be only one great singer. Then they get all rude. It's low. If there is a fight on the street, some people will record it and get their kicks. So funny. Some people will try to break it up and help them figure it out.

Krutoy is the russian equivalent of the American composer Andrew Lloyd weber who wrote many broadway shows. he came out of retirement to work solely with Dimash as composer, and collaborator, he is a billionaire and doesn't need the money. if you watch sinful passion (slavic bazaar) I think you will see him in the audience at the end. that is how they met

BTW - If you would like to experience Dimash doing "sing-offs" with other vocal stars, I have two suggestions for you. 1) While performing on the I Am A Singer in China in 2017, a highly respected and talented singer from Taiwan, Terry Lin, became like a second father to Dimash. The rules of the competition limited each performer to sing only 1 of their own original songs. The one Dimash chose was "Unforgettable Day". Terry loved the song. In the video below, there is a fantastic show of mutual respect while at the same time letting out all the stops when the performed the song together on the stage at the Jackie Chan Action Film Festival. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmq4o6CYe5eib9k 2) You most likely are familiar with the SciFi film, "The Fifth Element"? There is a song in this film that is sung by an alien. It was written by Eric Serra, the composer, intending it to be so difficult that no human could sing it (all notes were sampled independently in the studio then cut together). The song is "The Diva Dance" (opens with the aria from Lucia de Lammermoor). Of course, many sopranos took this as a challenge and have tackled it. Well, Dimash has too! During the Spring Festival while participating in Singer 2017, Dimash sang this with Li Yugang, a male star of the Beijing Opera, specialist in the "nandan" roles - males who play females. Be prepared - this is a mind-blowing duet, pairing Diva Dance with a piece from classical Chinese opera. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHTVf4mXjah1Zs0

I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery that you shared with all of us. It is gorgeous there where you are. You will never be sorry when reacting to any of Dimash's songs. His performances are magical. Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose music specifically for DImash's unique voice. If you see him at the piano, chances are that he composed it. That is why he watches Dimash so intently. They are usually very difficult to sing, and only Dimash has the talent to perform them.
