I have not tried Gyeon Mohs yet but I have used Gyeon Trim on the exterior plastic with great success. I used it on the black plastic on my 2005 Mini Cooper S and on my next door neighbors Chevy Avalanche. The plastic was so badly faded we were both surprised at the great results. I haven't had a bad experience with any of the Gyeon products that I tried. Great company!

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I do know in what direction I want to go, but that would really need a conversation over the phone with a few other questions about some of the other products I’ve purchased. Like, I understand that Gyeon one Evo basically has no slickness to it, but after doing a lot of research, if I understand it all correctly, using topper over the Gyeon one Evo, I can achieve that slickness that is desirable for me. If I’m mistaken, then I’ll have to rethink how to get the job done correctly on the first try.

Brian, another great video! I have a couple questions if you don't mind. 1. Would you recommend this, BC1, or anything else in this price range? 2. I enjoy trying different quick detailers; can different quick detailers be used on this? 3. As far as rags go, does a different side need to be used for each panel, or could it be used a couple of times before it has to be folded? 4. Think this really will last 3 years? Thanks!!
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I haven’t used Brian’s new products do I can’t compare that. I really enjoy Mohs as I have applied it a few times now. Yes you can use different detailers they just need to have SIO2 in them. I usually use a new side every panel. I really do believe it will go 3 years and beyond if maintained.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing awesome, thanks! So Griot's ceramic detailer or titan is fine? Would a non-ceramic detailer damage it if used as a drying aid? I might give it a try!

@FABAutomotiveDetailing in Gyeon instructions, they say 1 hour. For example, in the directions labeled paint coatings manual, it shows apply Q2m Cure or Q2m Ceramic Detailer 1h after coating application. In notes for One and Pure, it also shows that you can coat with Can Coat Evo 1h after application as well. The only thing shown about 12h is don't use the vehicle for 12h after coating.
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 10 ай бұрын
@@mikezupancic2182 That is true but the longer you can let it cure before topping it with Cure or Ceramic Detailer the better. The reason it says 1 hour for another coat or to use CanCoat is because after that hour is up another coat won’t bond to the first coat. I hope that make sense.
@mikezupancic2182
@mikezupancic2182 10 ай бұрын
@FABAutomotiveDetailing makes sense, though Gyeon doesn't make sense sometimes. They tell you to apply in your preferred method then tell you to put a thick heavy coat on. But they give you 30ml.

is one layer enough? what is the durability of one layer??
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Yes. One layer is put to 3 years and 2 layers is up to 4 years. That was one of the main reasons for revamping this coating was to make it a 1 layer product unlike the first version.
