How does this compare to their complete polish?
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 3 жыл бұрын
It’s definitely better then the Complete Polish. The BOSS Polishes are more professional grade products as Complete compound and polish are more for beginners.

You sir are probably the only guy with a video on the Perfecting Cream. So thank you. Been searching for days and finally came across your channel. Would you say it's good to follow the Fast correcting cream with Perfecting Cream? Any tips on how to use with either Fast and or Correcting cream?
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 6 жыл бұрын
Francisco Arroyo You are welcome I am glad you found the channel. Yes you should follow Fast Correcting Cream with a fine polish or cream like Perfecting Cream. Perfecting Cream really refines and levels the paint after major correction. It really brings the Gloss out in the paint. All you need to do is once Fast or Correcting Cream steps are done just follow up the same way with perfecting Cream then apply your wax or sealant. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Looks like it works just like GG complete polish. Can you compare them? Which one cuts better? According to Griots complete polish has no filler either.
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 3 жыл бұрын
They are very close to the same. Perfecting cream cuts a little better and finished better IMO. None of Griots products have fillers in them.

If you wanted to enhance the gloss on a new car that has little to no defects before applying a sealant, would you recommend using this product or something even less aggressive than the Perfecting Cream?

I am doing the same thing with my '00 S2000, it is black and the paint has been through a tough time. I have some scratches on it that have gone through to the primer in some spots. I have been using Chemical Guys products and they work ok but it looks like the Griots system seems to give it that extra pop. I'm enjoying watching you bringing this Jeep back to life and keep up the good work 👍👍

IntervalePC Honda S2000’s isone of my favorite imports. They are a blast to drive. I have never tried Chemical Guys but I can tell you that Griot’s Garage BOSS System is amazing for paint correction. Thanks we have put a lot of time into it but it has been worth it.

Once again great video brother! The part about the humidity when you said if you don’t live in high humidity don’t move had me laughing so hard! Once you backed it out in the sun I was blown away! You have definitely put the life back into it! Red calipers are going to look really good on it also!

Hey buddy! I know the humidity was awful, but why did the "hazing" go away the next day? I've had kinda the same problem. Drove me nuts. Was it because humidity went down? Did you re-wipe? What did you come up with?
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 3 жыл бұрын
The humidity level went down overnight. If you slow the machine down it also helps with the haziness.

Turned out 👍🏼 nice. I know you use 2” pads bumpers / a b c pillars etc. what’s your thoughts on 3.5” for these areas? Is it to big? Thanks Jason
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 5 жыл бұрын
JM Mustangs Thank you! I used the 3 inch pads for a long time and they will work. A lot of times it depends on the car you are doing. Some pillars are wide enough and some aren’t. I only use the 2 inch to improve the correcting ability out of the Griot’s 3 inch polisher. Hope this helps.

Do you moisten the pad at all before putting the Perfecting Cream? I'm new to this stuff and it just seems to me that I should put a few drops of water on it to soften the pad up.
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 4 жыл бұрын
Robert Reed No I just prime the pad at the beginning with the product and rub it in the pad by hand then add a few drops of product.

I know for the average person what you’ve done is by far more than what they could ask for in terms of results. But would a wet sand step remove some of those scratches the hung up on your nail?
@FABAutomotiveDetailing
@FABAutomotiveDetailing 5 жыл бұрын
Joey Joe Thank you! Wet sanding would help with the light imperfections the polisher didn’t get yes but if your nail catches it then it’s through the clear coat. The best thing to do is fill it in with touch up paint. Great question though I appreciate the comment.

Nice video. Love Griot's BOSS polishes for medium to hard paint, but when dealing with soft black paint(generally speaking), I use other polishes. The BOSS polishes take a bit too much elbow grease to remove, making it much more likely for towel marring(even quality towels).

Mike Matthews I have had other people say that as well but others say it wipes off easy. I guess it must all depend on temperature and humidity. That’s the only thing i can think of. I have had no problems out of any of the BOSS products being hard to remove. Maybe I am lucky!

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I'm gonna tell you one more little secret the pad that you're using is the right pad the Orange pad too hard and doesn't get me as close as I can to the paint that's why you're getting better results because it's a softer pad and it's getting you closer to the paint to do a better correction I will not buy no more Orange pants again
