Love Faber Castell pens. And you’re right about their extra fine nibs. They are more like Japanese extra fine nibs than western versions.

I got myself into the fountain pen community with the Hong Dian Purple Forest. I am VERY proud of that pen! I have bought three of them. This latest one has been extremely durable. It's been ran over with a car, dropped in a river, lost several times to return with some major scratches, but it lives on very strong. My one complaint that you mention in this video is that it is fully metal, particularly the grip where I write from. I prefer to write from farther up on my pen, but with it being metal it has no absorption of ANY kind of skin moisture. So I find myself constantly re-setting where my fingers are on my pen because they slide towards the nib. I am considering to buy this Faber Castell, hopefully it won't produce the same issue.

hi there, the barrel is straight so i dont think u will have that hand sliding problem on this one. like i said, faber castell makes ones of the great steel nib so i recommend u get this 😀🙃😁

Fountain pens are a false economy created by youtubers. Anyone who pays more than $5.00 for a fountain pen is throwing money away because they'll never recoup their cost.
