While viewing your videos I've been going to Google Maps, typing in whatever addresses can be seen in your vid, and then seeing what the homes were like before this tragedy. Seeing 16321 PCH, which was filmed by GM in December 2023, you get a very touching reminder of what was and is no more. Some of the mobile homes are of the older variety and have their potted plants, trees, cactus, etc. sitting at the entrances to the various spaces. Other homes are more recent and have a beachy, upscale vibe. Heartbreaking to see and know that the home owners are now without the homes they loved and the community they created is gone forever.

@@MyCharlestonLife You're welcome! Much of the area in Pacific Palisades, along the Pacific Coast Highway, and in Hollywood is familiar to me since I lived in Los Angeles for 45 years. However, I only saw the mobile home park in passing and never had any reason to go on the property. These were not wealthy people. And even if they had been that doesn't mean they're deserving of a disaster. I pray that none of them ever read any of the cruel posts. It would be devastating to discover people were so heartless toward them in what most likely is the worst thing to ever happen to them.

I would think something could be found even if it's just ashes. The cadaver dogs will alert their handlers if they detect human remains. They have a ton of homes to go through in Pacific Palisades. It's going to take weeks to complete it. 😊

So many people standing around, wandering back and forth, looking helpless amidst this horror. Only for a couple minutes of nearly half an hour were there shots of efforts being made. I guess they were all waiting for orders? In another of your videos we see dozens upon dozens of fire trucks, military vehicles, police cars, tremendous resources just parked there by the sea, waiting for what? -most of the equipment looking pristine except for a few LAFD trucks that look like they had been to hell and back. Very nice of those people to come down from Menlo Park, San Francisco, Orgon, etc. I hope they don't have to go up in those hills if the wind picks up. I rather expect the insurance companies will insist that any rebuilding of houses on their nickle be accomplished with only the highest fireproof standards.

We welcome everyone to come to Pacific Bakersfield only 1 hour and 45 minutes from Altadena, $300.000 will buy you a nice home, Only 1 hour and 30 minutes from Hollywood BLVD and we have no danger of floods, tsunamis, fires, earthquakes, congested traffic, high winds, high gasoline prices, we have 2 Costco's, 6 super Wal-Mart's, 20 new car dealerships, 2 bedroom apartment rentals are average $1.300 a month, and hot days are only 2 months out of the year, and we don't drink recycled sewer water like L.A County does, we get fresh clean water from the mountains and that is just to mention a few positive reasons to live here. I moved here from Santa Monica 30 years ago and I will not go back. Bakersfield is a NO STRESS CITY. And for those that prefer mansions, we also have a one million dollar homes, that are nicer than LA area 5 million dollar homes.
