Thank you, Fabian, for sharing this video. I had a friend who lived in the Palisades - not at the Tahitian terrace, but farther back. She passed a few years ago, and all I can say is thank goodness she did not live to see this devastation. My heart goes out to everyone who has been caught in these fires. Santa Monica is my favourite place to visit in the US and our videos bring back happy memories, Watching these fires on the News and these clips of the aftermath are heartbreaking.

@@penelopelgoss2520and she also took that trip on our tax payer dimes, cut fire dept funding and did nothing to ensure an adequate water delivery system, that's just for starters. Tell me just where do you think these people will now live, especially when fire insurance policies were just cancelled. 😢🙏🌷

Worked the sayer fire in 2008. We evacuated the mobil home park off the 210 fwy. When we left the homes were still there. We got called to escort all personnel into & out of the 5 fwy corridor where the 5 & 14 fwy splits. We went back to the mobil home park later & it was gone. 600 homes vanished. It was unreal, like a bomb went off. Prayers to all involved. God bless you.

Praying for all those affected. Just horrendous. We humans need to bring back humanity and reduce the greed. So many people who live in this area said "it came from nowhere" "the winds just suddenly changed" "whole life material gone in a second." In a matter of hours, whole cities were destroyed by fire. Very humbling for anyone.

@@fredingram3731 Yes, as a mobile home park. Why wouldn't it? Are you assuming they have no insurance? Those "mobile homes" were up to a million dollars. Not a typical mobile home park. And insurance is mandatory no matter the size of your home.
