i used to watch my brother play Fable 1 for hours on end. We would figure out how to get passed certain areas or demon doors together. trying many things. we would get called for dinner and we would anticipate what could be behind the door or the area we need to get or how to kill a certain boss. Before heading back to our room and continuing the adventure. those. those were the days i can relive forever.

@PhyreI3ird2 жыл бұрын
Even for those of us that didn't have the carefree childhood, games and soundtracks like this remind us of the reprieve from the bullshit, where we could cut loose and just have fun, doing our own thing, being ourselves or exploring what it's like to be others. So interestingly I still see a reflection of myself/past self in that image. The look of contemplation and being lost in thoughts/daydreams in a moment of solitude and independence. To me it speaks of the kid in the image having earned his alone time. It's beautiful, really.

I'm leaving the country. I brought my dog to the park where I grew up that used to be closed to the public. Iv brought 3 generations of dogs here since I was 9. We would play football, soccer, baseball here. I banged a couple of chick's in this park. Playing this awesome fable music gave me nostalgia while walking through my childhood. This is my parents dog so they will take care of him. Thank you for submitting these tracks and allowing Me to have a great last day in the USA. Fable 1 is one of the best games of all time. Like many of you playing this in middle and high school. They just don't make games like they used too. Good luck people of avalon

Yeah, this made me realize that I'm at that same point in my life again that comes every 3 or 4 years where I wanna play the Fable series again. I'm going back to Albion again. I can already hear The Guildmaster saying "Hero your will energy is low" and "Try to get your combat multiplier even higher" in Fable TLC. I can hear Theresa describing the skills I can buy when I made it to the Chamber of Fate in Fable 2. And I can hear Jasper talking to me in the Sanctuary in Fable 3. A fun playthrough to do once again. I have good high hopes for Fable 4. Lastly, thanks for the chill music. EDIT: Yeah, hmm. After the most recent trailer in 2023 for the Fable reboot, I'm gonna stick with Fable 1, 2, and 3 Microsoft. No thanks on that garbage reboot.

Russell Shaw knocked it out of the park with the first Fable soundtrack. He managed to capture the fairy-tale atmosphere and mood of the games so well, it's just not the same playing the games without his music, which in my opinion, is the ultimate indicator of a good soundtrack. I'd put him up there with my other two favorite video game composers, Jeremy Soule and Martin O'Donnell.
