There is absolutely no reason to think that Thracians have only one descendant. In the Roman times the northern part of Thrace was under strong Latinisation, while the southern part mostly Hellenized. Of course this was a very slow process, and yet in 7th century we have some informations about monks who still proceed to know Thracian. Then came Slavs who were the ancestors of Bulgarians, and the inland Thrace slavisized. The outcome is that some "Thracian blood" can be shared between Bulgarians, Thracian Greeks and local Vlachs as well. Nevertheless, original Thracians as an ethnicity as well as their language don't exist know and Romanians, together with Vlachs are rather thought to be the descendants of Latinized Dacians (Dacians were closely related to Thracians, both linguistically and culturally, but they weren't exactly the same people) while the non-latinized Dacians became the ancestors of Albanians, who later went southward, escaping from Avars.

@@kucam12mischablue Romanian American here! Yes indeed! Both my parents are from Bacau and when they grew up, they used to enjoy folk music festival every year. Now since 2019 of course because of the current pandemic, it seems like the culture in Moldova is dying out but for my generation born in 1999, it is saved but for the next is uncertain. Bucovina younger generations really keep tight to their culture and folk music. So every folk music should be preserved.

Aromână* Haideți să-nțelegem un lucru de la bun-început: Noi, aromânii, meglenoromânii, istroromânii, NU vorbim limba română, ci limbi evoluate separat, înconjurate de slavi, turci și alte popoare mai puternice. Dacoromânii, adică limba română, rămânând în spațiul României de azi, a putut crește și s-a dezvoltat, a fost influențată altfel, a fost standardizată de multe ori. Aromâna și restul, în schimb, au rămas arhaice și puțin standardizate, dar influențate de popoarele unde aceștia "bânarã"(trăiră) și unde au ajutat țările respective ca pe casele lor(iar ei i-au tot gonit de colo-colo)
