It would be really cool to see american football in the olympics one day. Like you said the sport is heading towards a positive direction! Countries like Germany, Mexico, UK, South Korea are some other countries who enjoy this sport as well!

Yup. Blocking and tackling. 1. Japan's offensive line play was superior. They consistently got a push and you could tell they are well coached. Some of those traps in the 4th are chef's kiss worthy. 2. Japan's defense rallied to the ball and I only counted one play of multiple missed tackles vs numerous on the part of USA. Their form tackling was much better. Japan was a joy to watch.

Japan was well coached. They flew to the ball on defense. Sound tacklers. Their offense was sound as well. Great blocking, and their running backs were really good. Single cut, downfield, hard running, and they were pretty damn fast. Congrats to Japan. Definitely expected much better from team USA.

The announcer sounded vaguely canadian. Perhaps he thinks the onside punt (which is a _real thing_ in canadian football) also exists in the american rules. It doesn't, obviously, but that's just a guess.

I lived in Japan for 14 years. I was surprised to find Japanese Universities playing American football. It's a niche sport there. However, the few that do play it are extremely passionate. Not surprised at all that Japan won. Congrats and cheers from the States.
