It worked! I kept thinking of all kinds of things you could do as you went along, and that's kind of the point, isn't it? Find what works. You were smart to do it all kinds of ways. It's a quick, cute gift! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

That looks easy enough to do! A nice way to use some fabric scraps. Thanks!

First off, I love that dress. Loved it first time I saw it and even more the second time! Wow! Those beads are beautiful! Never wud have figured that out. Great job! I don't think I'm patient enough and my poor arthritic hands don't work like they used to.

I had to laugh when your jump ring jumped out of your hand. Haha. I like the fabric covered beads a lot more than I thought I would. Although the jersey and wood beads is great. Thx for another great idea!

I'm now trying to think of a less tedious way to get this same look. If I come up with anything, I'll let you know! I'm not sure I could sit and make these, but they're cute!

I wouldn't sand or pull the fabric through. Mod podge will keep it on. I would barely have a tiny bit of fabric go into the hole.

@@jodieroundtree488 That sounds good; I think it would work.

I liked this idea and you made me smile. Why not make a double or treble knot on knot so you can see it more prominently.

This is off topic, I was wondering if you still love your sewing machine? I am looking for one with a automatic thread cutter. Do you feel your machine feeds the fabric well and stitches how you like? Have you had any problems as you sew? It's so hard to make decisions about machines. Thanks

You might want to use a cheap emery board to rough up the beads

That would def work. I just grabbed what I had already.
