Yep, agree with the earlier commentator, the birds are robins. They are a really cute little bird that we have in the UK. Mostly brown coloured but with red breast feathers. They are very much associated with the Christmas season as their lovely red breasts seem to be even brighter in winter, especially if you catch sight of one on a snowy day. Like that you have a Welsh name. My great grandmother was called Ellen. Her name appears with that spelling in most censuses etc. but my grandmother always pronounced her mother’s name as Elin.

This is the 1st of your videos for me. I know it is an older video. Keep in mind all the various color block style dresses. that beg ror smaller yardages. Also all the tiered dresses a skirts, I just picked up my last piece of fabric for a tiered dress. I am a larger plus. I love the fabrics and they are going to make a lovely dress for church. All but 1 is thrifted.

Thank you for this video. 80% of my fabric comes from Minerva. I've always been tempted to purchase a Mystery Bag but have not yielded. I think that I would struggle to make something with shorter lengths. I look forward to being inspired by your makes ❤️ 🇬🇧

Hi there, I'm new to your channel. Enjoyed it very much and loved your fabrics. I am British and you had me laughing when you said our favourite British bird the Robin Redbreast was 'a chicken'. They are often depicted in Christmas fabrics etc. as a cute little chubby bird. See your next film soon.

The white canvas would make nice tote bags. You could decorate them however you like

Crowned chicken fabric could be a lovely picnic table cloth. Heavier cream color, bag liner or perhaps pillow cases. First time watching you. Very fun seeing all the fabrics. But I want to touch them, feel the fabrics. Christmas deers can be made into gift bags (re-useable), or a vest under a jacket, probably not enough to make a shirt… take care

Interesting fabrics, really like both tree prints. The chicken one is Robins which makes it suitable for Christmas! Maybe make a good shopping bag or gift bags for Christmas

Love the metallic leather! Would be so cool for a mini skirt with a black shirt. The plaids are awesome too. Looks like a ton of fun! Way better mystery fabrics than Mood!

For the black and white canvas type fabric, you could do a colour blocked coat / jacket or a beach bag or a table runner

Metallic silver would make a nice bag/purse! I like the fabrics that look like water colors (trees). Maybe some of your solids would go with some of those water color prints. It looks like you got a nice selection compared to the Mood Mystery box that I’ve seen in the past. Love your display of fabrics. Easy to find what you need. Happy sewing! Cheryl

@@ElinEstelle they are very popular here in Ireland. There is saying that if you see a robin, person who is dear to your heart is looking after you. I always think about my late dad when I see one

I like to buy what I need I really don’t see the point of shelves of fabric that will probably never get used and If you can honestly tell me different then I’m sorry but to me it’s hoarding

I love your restraint! I tell myself I don't need more and yet I always end up finding more beautiful fabrics from deadstock suppliers (jobbers) that I know I will never find again!
