never heard of this place till recently. really sounds like they created something special with this place. music trendsends but, its unusual when a club/venue can do the same. i feel ya guys. things like this have happened here in detroit as well. silver lining is that rhe music isnt going away. they can't take that away from us. this generation takes a lot of hits but we are resourceful. things will swing up again. ✊✊✊

It's the correct decision, I was OUTRAGED at seeing hundreds of patrons with red eyes screaming 'help me, help me', I tried to comfort them but all they did was to look blankly into space. I spent the entire night crying into Mr Pink the bouncers warm bosom as I just couldn't understand what I was seeing.

Never had a chance to visit Fabric, but I can instantly point it out from the unique layout from watching many dnbtv (dnb arena) web videos from 2002-2008. Feel the pain alongside so many fellow fans of dnb. Seems like times are changing and nothing we can do to stop it.

I'm literally sitting in tears here with totally crushed heart. That is the only place in the world I could be myself. I could meet people filled with love and feel like one family. What can we do to change the decision :( donation? Pleeeease Fabric cant be closed :( its very unique place form me for Us. Fabric showed me whats the real music and to respect each other till then I was drunken zombie waiting for my favourite shitty song from radio in all these shitty clubs with show off people :(

You don't need Fabric Anton my lovely, you need to get out in the open air a bit more.. Get your nose out of your mobile device, find a park, breathe in the fresh air and say hello to someone....
@tOnK6668 жыл бұрын
mrbillhicks Well I was going there every second month so I had plenty time for what your wrote and lots more even that you know fuck all about my life and went straight to judgement on my feelings. You sound to me that you either work for pigs or Islington council. With that kind of nature I assume that people around you doesn't like you and you don't know about that as well:D Also With that kind of shooting judgements my lovely why would you go to Fabric? Would you try to pass your happy life opinions with people in the club and wait for applause and understanding? Get a boyfriend/girlfriend and give them your advice. But I give you one as well , get to know him/her first .

Excellent decision by the council. In fact places like Fabric stimulate drug usage, insanity and madness
@Supergeckos10008 жыл бұрын
Elaborate, please.

I hate to break it to you, but a hollow inanimate structure cannot "stimulate" drug usage, let alone insanity and madness. I'm a big fan of Lovecraftian horror too, but at some point you have to learn to separate fact from fiction.

People are gonna do drugs anyways mate.. Look at what prohibition has done to the drug world- it only made it worse. Shutting down night clubs isn't going to end the fact that people are overdosing on illegal drugs. People are still gonna rave anyways, they're just going to go to more underground raves and probably do more drugs than before. They'll also be much less safe..
@mrbillhicks8 жыл бұрын
Would you like to expand your 'hollow inanimate structure' theory to schools of learning, universities and public schools which have produced most of our ruling classes for centuries.. Seems to me that these hollow structures have a lot to answer to... How about the inanimate structures where people's children are taken to after they consume the drugs supplied to them at Fabrics hollow structure ??? I hate to break it to you Mike but institutions such as Fabric not only stimulate drug usage they actively encourage it....

lets ban pubs and cars because of a tiny minority of idiots, alcohol and vehicle deaths dwarf anything from pills.
@soatfaccls34358 жыл бұрын
you serious? its more than a pity mate, its tragic. as if closing Britain's best nightclub will stop people using drugs. the problem isn't the nightclub. people will just go somewhere else now. the corruption keeping drugs illegal makes them dangerous. the solution is change the laws, have them regulated and controlled by licensed responsible dispensaries run by experienced knowledgeable people who can offer advice and help. but no .. lets just close a world famous dance music institution and the best nightclub this country has ever seen...(oh and don't forget continuing unnecissary deaths) dickhead
