WE BOUGHT AN ABANDONED FARM With Stone Houses to Renovate in Portugal | TIMELAPSE 1 Year in 25 Mins

After selling EVERYTHING we owned, we bought an abandoned farm with 2 stone houses to renovate in Portugal. It’s been a wild journey so far full of highs and lows, and as 2024 approaches, we’ve been reflecting on our progress from the last year & thought it would be fun to create a timelapse showing our last one year of work in 25 minutes.
Working every week in our spare time to renovate & restore this abandoned farm into a beautiful homestead, we easily forget how far we’ve come & the transformations made so far, so seeing it all put together in this timelapse video has really spurred us on for a productive next year!

Great video, you two are inspiring! @@LifebyLiving Give it time and you will. There is really NOTHING like it in the world. It's indescribable. During the process it can be so frustrating. Tired like you never knew what tired was, busted knuckles, smashed fingers, almost throwing in the towel, etc..but once it's all complete and you get to live in that completed project/dream on a daily basis, then the constant amazement and euphoria sets in and it's the most alive I've ever felt. You just keep realizing you actually pulled it off, when you never thought it would ever happen. There really is nothing like that feeling.

I still cannot get over how great the roof looks, it was amazing that you did it all yourselves. I remember how much work was involved in making the gravel track. Endless trips with a wheelbarrow. And the most labour intensive job of all, putting the world's most complicated greenhouse together. God bless you for saving Poppy and giving her a permanent loving home. She is obviously so happy now with her doggie brother. I have read that animals are abandoned all over Portugal. There is a beach in the Algarve where people dump dogs all the time. They desperately need spay/neuter programs and a law requiring pet owners to fix their pets before their first heat. Animals being abandoned, starving, dying from disease and accidents is a tragedy that can be prevented if they aren’t born in the first place. PS-your farm is beautiful!🌷🙏🏻
