Extracting beauty from chaos has always been what I considered my “creative process” and I think many creative people do that as well ❤

It's not an untidy space, it's a creative space!! I too have a chronic illness and sometimes it's picking one thing over the other... obviously more sewing is usually my answer, and usually before I fall asleep in my sewing chair!! I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing!!xx

Exactly! If I have any energy I want to use it being creative, and a little nap in the sewing chair is no bad thing 😘

Can completely understand you didn’t want to immortalise the donkey’s bum 😂 loved the effect of the fabric, so pretty.

Well donkeys bum is such a niche genre 😉

My mother always said it was only a mess if it was wet or sticky. I took this on board, and it has been my mantra through my life too.

Hi Eleanor I am so glad you're posting again!! Not sure why but KZbin didn't let me know! Loved the video as always. I always think if I had more space it would be easier to stay organized. I am an organized person usually but in my craft area my inspirations have outgrown my space. ☺️

Hi Amy so good to hear from you. The thing is about the spaces we create or for me anyway, is having things that might "come in handy", also when people find out that you're creative so much stuff seams to make it our way. Thanks for watching as always 💚

My Mom did a cross stitch that says Creative people aren't Tidy. I love it and glad I have it now. Thank you for your honesty and your creative repurpose project. I'm uncomfortable with everything tidy. I feel lost.

What a lovely keepsake from your Mum, and I totally agree with the sentiment 😊

I also agree with the sentiment. I prefer a bit of artful squalor over living in what looks like a hotel. When I come home, I want it to be like wandering in to the most interesting antique shop and art gallery I could ever imagine. It's getting there that's all the fun!

@@lightwavz We collect antiques and my husband is an artist. We have our walls covered with his paintings and I enjoy textile art. Sounds like we both enjoy the comfort of art and our antiques.

As always a wonderful video, I loved hearing your thought process and it is so comforting to see someone happy with a mess, like that you keep it real. Well done on the 5,000 subs you deserve it.

This is lovely Eleanor. I have an old sewing box that I have been too scared to "do". But you have given me the confidence to have a bash now. Thank you x

Love your jacket very pretty, did you knit it.? What country do you live in. Just interested from your comments would the handles unscrew. I have a unit where the handles unscrew. Was only a thought. Hehethe boxes finished look lovely and cheerful. Well done.

Hi Karen, I live in Wales, my cardigan is hand knitted but not by me, it's a vintage 1980's hand knitted from a Kaffe Fassett design, my Christmas present from my partner 😊
