Hi, I'm really excited about this trying this project. Is the finished product washable? Thank you. Julie
@alandacraft8 жыл бұрын
This is so much fun to do Julie. You can really let your creativity run wild. These pieces are for use in mainly decorative projects, that won't require a lot of washing. We have written more information about this on our website. www.alandacraft.com/fabric-collage-tutorial-using-wool-foil/

Delightful! Which brand of fusible web do you recommend for this project. Thank you for your response.

In this project we used Mistyfuse, but we also use Heat and Bond and Wonder Under. All work well.

Thanks, @@alandacraft ~ Is it Heat n Bond light?

Is that felt that you used for the base?
@alandacraft Жыл бұрын
I have just used a piece of quilting cotton, Julie . I personally haven't tried this using felt as the base.

Thank you Adriane. I really love doing these collage fabrics, it's fun watching them evolve, and they can be used for so many projects. :)

Indeed, I am eager to try it. Regular foil will not work on fabric?
@alandacraft7 жыл бұрын
Not as far as I am aware, Adriane. I doubt the foil would stick to the fabric. You really need the Heat Transfer Foil. www.alandacraft.com/fabric-collage-tutorial-using-wool-foil/
