Man did I miss these! It is amazing to me howyou don’t really give much instructions, but rather just show what you do, but I still find them so instructive! I don’t hammer as much as I used to, but they were always very helpful to me in my work!

I’ve been watching your work for about 15 odd years now and I’ve been fascinated and motivated to pick up a hammer. Unfortunately I do not have a place to set up a mock forge. But still I can watch your hammering for hours.

Wonderful Eric- yours are the best armour-making videos on KZbin. But then yours were the first such videos I ever found 15+ years ago and I basically learned how to make armour from them- watching over, and over, and over. They're still my favourites ;) Merci.

amazing work. is there any chance of an in depth tour of the shop, specifically some of the stakes you use? it would be incredible to see them more clearly, maybe with some measurements. the two large "t" stakes both look incredible.

I like your new edge rolling form at 25:00. I'm definitely going to make one of those! I'm so glad to see you working in spring steel. What thickness are you using there, .060? Another awesome video. Even without voice over, I've always learned so much from watching your videos.

Another fantastic video. If you don't mind me asking, what thickness of 4130 did you use for the various parts?

@@ArmureDube thanks. Those numbers are consistent with what I have used in the past. My wife calls your videos my "armor porn". Hopefully when I retire from my full time job next year I'll have the time to get back in my shop shaping metal. Your videos are inspiring and incredibly informative.

When you are planishing. Are you using your thumb as a pivot for the handle and letting the handle bounce between your palm and fingers?
