I liked the fabric Robert picked for the teenager but it said cooler tones, I thought cooler tones were more in the blue arena. To me orange and yellow are warm. Not a criticism just an observation. The video idea was cute, loved it!!

I wonder if it was cool as in way cool man. Not cool as in tone. Either way love the quilt.

I think a round robin challenge could be fun. Hannah picks the pattern, while the contestants pick a #1 each, then hand them off to the next contestants who each pick a #2..etc. I love these challenge videos❤

Wow. Each one of you knocked it out of the park. I love the colors John chose for the butterfly teenager quilt. He went with such nice soft colors, showing how a quilt can be cool without being limited to certain colors. That hockey quilt would be perfect for my son.

Interesting two interpretations of "cool tones" Did Hannah mean "cool" as in with-it, funky or "cool" as in color tones in the blue, aqua, and purple sections of the color wheel?
@FabricCafe2 жыл бұрын
There may have been multiple interpretations with that one! 😅

Oh NO! I watched this video but we are packing up our house to move and didn't order fast enough - Game Time is all gone! Hockey fabric is hard to find and really should have stayed up later to order. My 12 year old grandson in Forney Texas is obsessed with hockey and plays goalie. Can you tell me the manufacturer of the 2 hockey fabrics? Maybe I can find some yardage. Thanks for all you do for us.

@MagicHeide2 жыл бұрын
Two comments: you have the ability to show a computer mock up, so please do it with each kit. Some of your customers cannot visualize like you do. Second, define terms. I was expecting a lovely blue/ green from John and got warm tones (yellow/orange) instead. News flash: pale is not cool. That was so disappointing. Fran's frogs and Donna's artistic picks were delightful. I hate hockey, but that kit would definitely delight some men and boys in my life. There was too much dull in the cars and the other didn't peak my interest at all. Hopefully next video will be better. Have you considered a 123 challenge? Each person picks a fabric, hands off to the next person to pick a fabric, then hands both to third person to pick last fabric and pattern?
@chrisdistelrath93862 жыл бұрын
A 1 2 3 challenge could turn a focus fabric of one person into a background or number three position by the end. Often you say any placement in the quilt as long as you follow through and cut all the pieces....
@FabricCafe2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comments. I'll pass the 123 idea along to Hannah,
