The event was headlined by a heavyweight number one contender's bout between Fabrício Werdum and Travis Browne.
Despite being a betting underdog and considered at a disadvantage in terms of striking, Werdum dominated the fight for nearly all five rounds. He won the fight via unanimous decision (49-46, 50-45, and 50-45).

travis originally seemed to look as if he was solidifying his close range game on the feet in the first round and perhaps took some energy to be held down by his opponent the first time around grounded..., but once fabricio steadies in his own calculations, he can really get going.... travis interestingly enough, seemed to have a burst of momentum himself after preventing a takedown in the fourth, but good bout it was in all....

Werdum is just one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. At the age of 44, he easily submitted a 31 year old Alexander Gustafsson in the very first round. He's underrated in his greatness. He also dealt with Cain Velasquez and Fedor Emelianenko with relative ease. And people like to put Stipe and Jones above this man. Laughable.
