Yes, I have flown the a330 quite a lot of times in both Mea (Middle East Airlines) and Saudi Arabian airlines. The Mea a330 is rare to fly on as Mea has only about 8 or 9 of them and they have different hubs in the Middle East and their headquarters are in Lebanon and I fly their every summer.( I started loving aviation in fall in 2019 so I’m little bit disappointed I won’t travel this year) Anyways I guess flying in their headquarters made it a little bit more common.

2:14 Yes, I have flown on quite a number of A330s. I flew on two Swiss A330s (one registration unknown but the other HB-JHM), two Delta A330-200s ( both unknown Registration), and a Lufthansa A330-300 (D-AIKG). A330 is my favorite aircraft.

Flown the A 330 with Qantas...Malaysian Airlines...Singapore Airlines ( many years ago ) Great aircraft !! Typical Swiss...efficient...clean...on time the list goes on !! Some friends did a number of long haul flights with Swiss before the pandemic in Business Class and they told me Swiss were the best airline they have ever flown with !! Thanks mate and a great trip report !!

Several years ago, me and my father flew to our native country of Sweden. We flew on a USAIRWAYS Boeing 767 from Philadelphia to Zurich where we transferred to a Swiss A320 for about a 2 hour flight to Copenhagen, Denmark. From there we had 2 hour train ride to beautiful Båstad, Sweden. It was very easy transferring in Zurich.

I’ve tried this same route CDG ZRH YUL last December and despite the old cabin ! Everything was perfect good food perfect crew comfortable cabin ! Full IFE ! Swiss is definitely a wonderful airline to fly with

I absolutely agree with your rating. SWISS is undoubtedly a great airline and I don’t say that just for patriotic reasons. The IFE isn’t the most modern one and compared to Emirates (which offers the best IFE in the entire airline branch for the moment IMHO) it might lack a bit behind high standards and expectations but it does its job on an 8+ hours flight pretty well, I think. As I don’t use or even need WIFI during a flight, I don’t really care about it. But the food and even more the staff is really great on SWISS. I have experienced this last year on my back flight from YUL to ZRH, compared to the Air Canada crew which I had on my flight from ZRH to Toronto, I’d always go with SWISS.

Those WIFI prices are outrageous. I can't even think someone paying that much specially for that little of data. Great report nonetheless. I've only flown Swiss on short haul but the value for price you got for this trip is great. I will have to try it soon!

Nice trip. I was lucky enough to fly on an Air Italy A330 from SFO-MXP direct last April. Very convenient. But my other choice is Swiss Air SFO-ZUR-MXP.

I flew on swiss A330 from Tel-Aviv to Zurich few times - but on my last flight they used the B777 - the cabin in Swiss B777 is much more modern then the A330.

What was the registration of that plane? I flew on HB-JHM (also a Swiss A330) from Chicago to Zurich about a year ago and it has been my best flight ever so far. Swiss is my favorite airline! Edit: I just noticed the registration of your flight in this video was HB-JHJ. Good video!

Personally I would not give Swiss a try because they can be pretty expensive, but the major reason is their fleet is very outdated in so many ways, but the quality of the service you received seems pretty decent so a plus for them.

I've tried the Swiss A330-300 as well back in April 2019 from Zürich to Miami. Their onboard product was excellent, I've been distributed 5 meals/snacks for a 10 and 1/2 hour flight. I think they should upgrade the inflight-wifi als well, because it just didn't work.

I really like SWISS and I enjoyed my last 4 SWISS flights on the A319, 2x A333 and A320 but I wouldn't book a SWISS A330 flight again because the cabin is outdated, the seats are horrible, my seat was broken and there was no possibility to chance seats. Many IFE screens were broken. Catering in economy class is just amazing however food on return flights from America may be bad.

I've flown on many A330 aircrafts, for example TAP, SAS or SWISS. Sadly the SWISS A330 cabin is the worst I've ever seen so far - not compareable with SAS A330. The seats are aweful, my seat was broken, I could't put it to an upright position so I had change seats before takeoff and got seperated with my friends. The other seat had a broken IFE and the USB charging possibility didn't work. On the returning flight several IFE screens didn't work - including mine. While the interior of their 330 is horrible, service and catering is outstanding. As far as I know SWISS is working on a A330 cabin refurbishment to improve the inflight experience which I really appreciate.
