Wow. In all my years of stamping, I have never seen anyone using both sides of vellum. The results are simply stunning. I just love watching your videos. You have such a soothing voice and share with us your technique of how to make unique and beautiful cards using minimal, simple supplies.

Lovely technique - cannot wait to try it. The stamping tool (aka your alabaster) is called a Chuckie Tool. It was created by Chuck Meadows for Gina K. to help with arthritic hands. He is so kind, he declined to patent it and told anyone who wanted to make one and even sell, to have at it.

Well you learn something new every day… on some sites in the UK they are called Pressure Tools and someone told me that the original tool for use in printing is called a ’baren’! What am I going to do with all this information I’m gaining? 😁😁😁

Believe me, of course! lol Go on Gina's site. There are a ton of photos of how everyone made one of their own. I made some for others using a furniture slide that had a felt type material on the bottom and a large spool.

Most of my square cards are around 6 x 6ins I do make smaller ones at 5 x 5 ins and sometimes even smaller ones 4 x 4 ins, but I cut all my card bases from sheets of A4 card which measure 29cms x 21cms this video shows sone of the card bases I often use. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3mxdJegoNN-epI

If you use a dye ink like the one I used, it dries fairly quickly and being on the reverse can't be touched by anything to risk smearing!

to make glue invisible behind vellum = put some glue (the white kind) on an extra surface dilute with a LITTLE bit of water and then apply this EVENLY and THINLY all over the vellum - stick the vellum down - a good idea is to put some weight ( a book maybe) on it for a little while a glue stick might also work

Another marvellous video for us Chris. 2 questions I'm afraid. How do you achieve the 3d look on your single frame card ? and Do you have the number of the triple square Sizzix die as I cannot source it ? Sometimes number is on reverse of the die I think. Thank you so much.

The single square card has a frame cut with a couple of Presscut dies and mounted on foam tape with a de-bossed square in the panel surrounding it. Sizzix dies 659647
