Hi, it's me again. I apologize if I'm being a bit annoying but I wanted to thank all of u ladies once more. You all have made my day one of the most exciting days in a long time. And when I say that I truly mean it. I no sounds a bit weird but this is the most excited and passionate I've felt in a LONG TIME!! And I owe that to all of u. Hi Jennifer, I know it's been awhile since you posted - I'm new to the party. Yes, finding the perfect palette is a "chore." lol For brown hair and brown eyes (your pic) you can wear virtually anything, it's just a matter of finding what you like. If you want to play with some affordable choices, Milani palettes are not expensive and a great quality. Their website offers incredibly fast shipping and great cust. serv. Once you get a feel for placement and technique, you can move on to the others. Equally important - brushes. Lisa has some great tutorials on brushes. And practice, practice, practice. One of the ladies at Ulta turned me onto a great product to set the under eye. No matter what powder I set with, concealer settles into my fine lines. Mally Evercolor Poreless Face Defender. I swirl my finger in it ad then pat under my eyes. I also use where my sunglasses set on my nose. I don't get the sunglasses marks in my nose.

Great review, I've been interested in this line for a while. How does it work over sunscreen (you could guess that question was coming...)? Does it matter if one uses a natural or synthetic brushe? FYI, I love the nail color you're wearing. Is it gel manicure or store bought? It's a perfect spring/summer color!

Great review! This foundation sounds wonderful. I am in my 60's with Combo skin. Do you think the Utra foundation would be best or this one ? I like more coverage but not a heavy look. Thanks for the great video....can't wait to see what you found at the Dallas show......

Yes, go with the Ultra it will give you more coverage than the Ultra skin. It won't look heavy at all. :)

Thank you Nina! How is your skin? Is it more dry or normal? This one does require more powder touch ups throughout the day but its still a beautiful foundation. You can get pretty medium coverage with this. Just start with a little and build it where you need more. Please let me know what you think when you get it.

Looked beautiful at the end of the day. I'm such a foundation junkie, I love a decent light/medium buildable as well. The other thing, my skin has just taken a turn on me from normal with an oily t zone to slightly dry. I used love a matte or semi matte foundation and now, all my foundations in my collection that I used to love I'm no longer enjoying. Here's to shopping and trying out new and replacing! Ha Ha! I'll definitely put this one on the list. 😉

Lisa- If you can, while you are at the makeup show, pick up some Danessa Myrick's "Vision Cover Cream" (foundation) and her brand new "Evolution Powder" (Setting Powders). I would LOVE to see these products applied & reviewed by an MUA who understands how to work with highly pigmented, full coverage foundations like the Vision Cover Cream. She also has a primer called "Prism FX Hydrating Lotion" which some ppl describe as similar to Becca's Backlighting Primer. Thanks! XOXO ~~Christy~~

This one is good for drier skin, requires more touchups than the Ultra but its equally as pretty.

I just tried this (not the concealer but the Ultra skin) - you say that the even numbers depict more "warm" and the "odd" more "cool"..then why does the website list #6 as "cool"? I went with the #5 as it said Med warm/yellow - but the #6 said Med/golden - cool. Very difficult to decifer based on these confusing vague descriptions when we are buying over internet. If the even numbers are more warm then they have the #6 listed incorrectly. I found this very dry - it was hard to spread. I do use my fingers but I patted on for the most part but I like my fingers as it is more hygenic then "brushes" IMO. I did use the beauty blender for alittle more in certain areas and "spackled" but it still was somewhat dry. I actually do have mature/drier skin - and it did cake/separate a bit in the corners of my brow area, around my mouth and it puddled a bit on nose..after being in sun (and I was not laying out or anything ) but playing with dog, and doing normal things. Honestly it did look nice but still feel somewhat dry to apply so not sure how well it will do ongoing..and when I look in my 10x mirror it looked not good. My old Laura Mercier "original" tinted moisturizer looked and felt lovely in the 10x mirror regardless of what I did. Their new formula is awful which is why Im looking for a replacement but not sure this is a pass. In normal mirror - "ok" but didnt pass the high end vanity 10x mirror.

I do not know exactly what you might be looking for, but a good starting point would be one of the two Becca ombre pallets. I also have bought the Face Atelier a few months ago and loved it ever since. It does perform very well, and if you are not sure of the shade selection, you can purchase a small amount to see.

Urban Decay makes some great pallets too. One being the Naked Heat Pallet. A great dupe for Naked Heat is the brand Makeup Revolution, which is more budget minded. MR has the Iconic Elements Pallet and the Iconic Smokey Pallet I hope this helps!

Have anyone try to mix face atelier ultra hd foundation with cinema secret?i tried but at the end of the day it was seperated on my chin.i used it alone for face atelier and slightly seperated as well..the way we put this face atelier hd ultra foundation should be by patting or stiple as well not by long swipe?

You have a pug! He's so handsome! I have a Godpuppy who is a pug, Frodo Michael Baggins! He just recently went blind. My poor baby! He has to wear this wrong around his head called a Halo 😇, it helps him not to keep bumping into things! His parents say around the house he's getting better and doesn't need it as much! Great review! I don't know what skin type I am now. I feel like I have adult acne or is it hormones??? I'm banned from shopping at the moment! I shopped after my sleeping pills! Oops! I couldn't help it, the shirts were so cute and I feel like I only have tshirts (all of them have something bout rescuing pets or music or a TV show). So I ordered some nicer tops to go out in. Why would the new FA be in your favorites for August when you are trying the new FA in September and giving it a bad review? And by bad, I mean the fact that you had to touch up so many times after. I would think you'd try it first then decide if it is a favorite. I usually like your videos.

I love the way it looks. Its a beautiful foundation. This wasn't a bad review. It was an honest review, and it is a beautiful foundation for what it is. Not every foundation needs to be full coverage and 24 hour wear to be good in my opinion. This foundation is great for dry skin, or someone who wants they skin to look healthy and natural and doesn't mind powdering a few times. I had worn it for weeks before filming this, but it was requested to do a review with checkins so I did. I still love it, just giving all the info so people can decide if its a good one for them. Everyone has different needs from a foundation and different skin, I hope this video shed some light who might love this foundation and who it might not be the best for.

`This did not work for me. Foundation felt like liquid plastic on my face and within an hour was an oily mess! I generally have normal to dry skin. Wasted $$$$

Beautiful - but this is hard to judge on someone that doesnt look much different with no makeup. Seriously..you are NOT mature skin by any means and can see you putting on colored water and still looking good.
