I like Lo Weeler’s clever idea of saving time and effort👍🏼 I would have used 20vol in the front and 40vol for balayaging or starting with balayage and finish with foils would also be good options but to combine the two is a great idea 🤓🙌🏻

anyone else think it looks incohesive? why not do a full head of foils to achieve the same amount of lightness in the front? she only had a demi permanent and isn’t a super dark base and clearly from the foils could achieve a clean level 9/10 lift?? the balayaged pieces in the back are so warm compared to the thick icy money peice. why not start with the balayage in the back so it has more time to process? why use 30 vol on the hairline especially when starting it first? honestly wth lol, we all know a toner is a band-aid, once it fades out it will look even worse

It’s sort of showcasing the already painted canvas and how u can approach it. I particularly would have started the back area first w few micro light around nape hairline. Then balayage the rest back - lastly the front w her approached. Still look nice and I honestly thanks 🙏🏿 This Chanel for providing free education for us. Not at all! I think she did a beautiful job. She also said that to get to their goal of overall lightness it would take about 2-3 more sessions. This is keeping the integrity of the hair.
