Martin Keown was try to make the point the other day that players are awash with money and don't know what to do with it. Rashford is a prime example. Simon is exactly right. There was nothing respectful about Rashford pushing for a transfer through the press when a new manager had just arrived under challenging circumstances. Showing a lack of commitment neither helped the club nor made him more attractive to suiters. All it did was get him banished from the team, while probably making a transfer less likely.
