I just saw the PM for this and wondered if you would do it. :) I only vaguely remember the movie, myself. I'm your age, and my mother was obsessed with Nicholas Cage, so I know I have seen all of his movies. She preferred Con Air, though, so we watched that more than this one at the time. And even as a kid, I was bothered by the (lack of) science in this, haha. Definitely one of those suspend disbelief popcorn action flicks! I actually think both HT and PM did this quite well. I agree, this HT guy is definitely the best of the voices. Plus this one was snappier than some of the HTs. Ryan, of course, killed it though. Especially his Pollux part. 😆

Face/Off with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone would've been great!!! About the videos, i think it's a tie, i like them both, really funny. 🤣😂🤣 It's also funny that you didn't watched Pulp Fiction when it came out cause you were only 12 years old, cause i've watched it when i was only 8, along with other great cult movies like Scarface and The Godfather. The thing is, even tho i was that young, i already knew that movies were fake, that the blood was fake, the characters were just actors playing their roles and people didn't actually died for real, so nothing could've possibly traumatized me, my parents knew that, and so they let me watch literally anything i wanted.
@OnMyMindEntertainment3 жыл бұрын
I had the same view on movies from a very young age, but my parents somewhat selective with the more adult stuff. I say selective lightly because we watched the Alien movies and Terminator when we were really young, lol! But if it had a lot of language, is normally didn't see it until I was older.
@JohnDoe-dj3lw3 жыл бұрын
Thing is it’s not about “the blood” but rather about the violence perpetrated, the motivations behind it and the overall tone and setting of the movie. My parents forbid me to watch Platoon for quite some years, for example. Alien? Nope, that was fine because that’s a monster and you know it’s not real and you can easily notice it’s a puppet, plus it’s sci-fi. But, like, FMJ? No sir, that’s another one that I had to grow up some more before I was allowed to watch it. The Deer Hunter? Same thing, but in that case I watched it regardless without them knowing lol the Russian roulette scene tho it kinda shocked me, and I was not a young boy anymore, so to put that into perspective...imagine letting a child watch a movie like that..

This is actually a reboot that I wouldn't mind. I enjoyed 'Face/Off' when I saw it as a kid, but I think I've only rewatched it maybe once over the last 20 years. IMO a reboot/remake can work out as long as the original wasn't great...and this movie wasn't (or if you go a different route than the original). I just hope it isn't a couple weak actors trying to do impressions of Cage and Travolta.
