The Tumbler used in Nolan's Batman Trilogy is probably my favorite Batmobile ever, even though it looks more like a tank than a car, wich is the reason some people don't like it, but that's exactly why I do, and the fact that it was actually built to be able to do all the stunts we see in the movies, and surviving them, is simply amazing in my opinion. It was capable of surviving high jumps, and despite the 2.8 tons weight, it could go 0 to 60 in less then 6 seconds, with a maximum speed of 220 MPH, thank to a 5.7 litres General Motors-Vauxhall engine, with 500 HP. It was also capable of actually shooting flames from the back, thank to a hot air balloon propeller connected to 6 propane gas tanks, so cool 😎. "Does it come in black?"~Bruce Wayne

The Alley Way Murder Man... Sounds like a title for a Sherlock Holmes novel... the other World's Greatest Detective! For me PM takes this one for a couple of reasons. AWMM is one of them... That is a better title then Well Man, who sounds like a person that is just really really healthy. The other is the part where he is talking about condensed milk. I like the different slant for this Batman. Batman can't be perfect perfect, that's one the things that plagued Superman. It would not have if he wasn't over powered from the beginning. Most, for decades, wanted a hero they could trust. People once cared about entertainment, monitoring the messages and how they affected those who ingested various mediums. They were aware human actions and desires can influenced and shaped by entertainment in any form. They weren't always correct in their judgements, but it was an attempt to prevent social problems. Someone with Sup's power would be deemed too dangerous to skate near the edge of doing bad things and not be classified as a villain. The comic would have been shut down quickly if he wasn't super moral. Batman, with his strong moral code, was the perfect crime fighter. He did what the law failed to do or could not do. It was true justice without the shackles that often hindered real law enforcement. He didn't challenge the moral standards of people who liked the comics. He was, and still is, more relatable. He's not out there bawling in the streets constantly, but he has a known emotional core. He feels, he's human and he's suffering from isolation, loss, lack of connection, the latter mattering because he can connect but his circle outside collaboration series, is small. His is a closed world with double life, neither side is fulfilled. He's not without precedent, many decades ago The Lone Ranger, and the more closely related Zorro, were very popular for the same reasons. They are bringing him closer to being villainous at times, I don't think they'll actually cross the line. It's also becomes a question of morality. When he was created they were careful to keep him from doing certain things, however it was overly strict in those days and became worse for a while. The very perception of appearing to do wrong was a bad as actually doing wrong. Now, we are challenged in the face of unfettered, uncensored reality, to think deeply about is truly right or wrong. It'll be interesting to see where they're going to take him and even more interesting to understand why. That's one fandom they don't want to cross. I like both, but I favor the things highlighted by Honest Trailer. I think a great job in pointing out weaknesses. They problems are there but the movie overcomes them.

As usual I have to go with RG (this might be subjective Canadian jingoism but the man is objectively brilliant) but I loved HT too!
@misterderp45663 жыл бұрын
The HT trailer is funny, but fails to account that lots/most of repeated one-liners are very intentional and to help make character change SUPER-clear to people who were expecting a different version of the Schumacher-type Batmans. Sometimes it was a bit much, but I think audiences need a conk in the head to see where these people started and where they turned out (which is called 'on-the-page' character growth) as far as that goes, the lines parts were pretty subtle, especially given to what they were up against, and how so many action movies have changed to ignore that entirely. Besides, when Batman reveals who he is to Rachel, it's using a line she gave to Bruce in the past (if I remember correctly) so there's a lot going on with using double-lines the way Nolan did. The only thing the Pitch Meeting missed was how after Producer Guy says "that's rude and inconsiderate" it cuts back and Writer Guy isn't there for a minute and then appears somewhere surprising. Everything else was pretty spot on, so Pitch Meeting for the win (as usual).
@nooneinparticular14913 жыл бұрын
I'm going to give a narrow win to the Honest Trailer. Both were well done, and generally pretty fair to Batman Begins, but the Honest Trailer did a better job of highlighting that which was great about the movie, as well as the flaws. The Pitch Meeting was a little too skewed towards the flaws IMO. Pitch Meeting did make me laugh uncontrollably the first time I saw it, due to the sweet, sweet condensed milk / brush Mother's hair joke. Mr. Vaughn, I'm guessing that you didn't intend for us to spend a huge amount of time thinking about Alleyway Murder Man... but I find myself spending a lot of time thinking about Alleyway Murder Man (not THAT way). That actually sounds like a comic book villain that you might find in a high-rise-building environment. He (or she) would have no discernable M.O. regarding the choice of victim, only that the murders would take place in, or near, alleyways. There could even be a sinister catch phrase, such as, "There are Many, Many Alleyways in the City!"

I really hated Batman Begins. The Dark Knight was great but that's it for the Nolan Batmans. Ledger and Eckhart did carry it. Reason I hated Batman Begins was the batsuit, the Bat voice, the flying kite with red eyes after Scarecrows gas... the use of Scarecrow was horribly done along with showing what people saw when exposed to it. Fight scenes were annoyingly bad with all the cuts. Didn't care at all about the origin story it did. Says something about the Batsuit when I prefer the one with Nipples. 🤣 I was actually pretty annoyed and upset that they made Rhaz a white guy. 😒 I don't recall people losing their crap over that even though they should have. I mean how'd people get upset the white kid in the Iron Fist comics was played by a white guy? People pick and choose I guess even if it makes them a hypocrite.
